Multi-doing

Multi-task like a master with the ability to snap four things on the screen at once. Screen getting crowded? Create virtual desktops to get more space and work with just the items you want. Plus, all your notifications and key settings are collected on one easy-to-reach screen.

Microsoft Edge

It’s the all-new browser designed to make the web work the way you do. Write or type directly on webpages and share your mark-ups with others. You’ll like the reading view that clears away distractions. There’s also an improved address bar to help you find things faster.

Continuum

Rated 3 out of5 by fromUpgrade Wiped My ComputerWhen upgrading it wiped my computer; so, I bought WIN 10 Pro outright as I was advised this would be a better action than re-installing Win 7 and then waiting for the upgrade to catch up.On installing WIN 10 upgrade wipes out other programs; again this is why I went for the clean install.Better solution all round.

Rated 4 out of5 by fromGood but not excellentI bought Windows 10 Pro for a desktop PC hoping that all signs of the primitive touch screen interface, evident in Windows 8.1, were not visible. This was essentially the case apart from the gross 'touch screen tiles' which were attached to the start menu. I thankfully discovered that these tiles were removable.I am of the opinion that '3d' windows are visually superior. Win10 windows look cheap and nasty and the colour options are sparse compared with Windows 7. Apart from these issues Windows 10 appears to be a reasonably good product.

Rated 4 out of5 by fromPretty Solid Operating SystemI bought this product (Windows 10 Pro) roughly 3 weeks ago now with delivery of my serial arriving promptly in my email inbox. I have to say so far so good.Although I have made the journey from Vista -> Windows 7 -> Windows 8.1 and now to Windows 10 and was quite reluctant to move away from 7 which I found to be great, I am fast getting used to all the nuances of this new Microsoft release and am finding the experience quite pleasurable. In my mind the whole shift to Windows 10 was exciting and like getting the latest and greatest new phone where you start playing with the thing and can't put it to sleep until you've discovered all the capabilities. There are some slight annoyances such as a disappearing vertical scroll bar when using Edge browser which can be slightly annoying when using a notebook touchpad and also slight confusion in my mind relating to the Backup and Restore facility which is inappropriately named Backup and Restore (Windows 7).I am hoping that with continued feedback from the consumers of Windows 10 that these issues will be fixed through updates in the near future along with any other bugs which may present themselves with further use.All in all, this is a very solid release from Microsoft which I have now clean installed on a UEFI system without any major issue after disabling secure boot for the install.I personally created a bootable USB using the Windows Media Creation Tool and now have my key safely tucked away. Activation for me personally occurred instantly.Good luck everyone who makes the move and enjoy the experience :)
