Overview

Lightweight, razor-thin keyboard and cover

Innovative, 2.5 mm thin, pressure-sensitive keyboard responds to the touch of your fingertips. Twice as fast as onscreen typing. Smart enough to know when you are deliberately pressing a key, or just resting your hands. Doubles as a protective cover.

Backlighting

The keyboard is illuminated in low light, making it easy for you to use after the family (or the stranger sitting next to you in seat 37A) goes to sleep.

Spill-resistant

Smooth material repels moisture and dirt. To clean, simply wipe with a damp cloth.

Magnetic connection

Click in Touch Cover in an instant using a proprietary magnetic connection. To remove, simply pull Touch Cover away. There are no buttons or locks to get in the way.

Windows shortcuts

Navigate Windows easily with Windows shortcut keys. Built-in trackpad gives you the touchscreen experience, without ever having to take your hands off the keyboard.

Smart on/off

When Touch Cover is folded back like a magazine, keystrokes are automatically disabled to prevent accidental data input. To return to typing mode, just flip Touch Cover back into keyboard position. Close Touch Cover to shut off the display, preserving battery life and protecting your screen when you’re on the move.

Ratings and reviews

Rated 3 out of5 by fromVery light and thin for a keyboardThe dimensions of this product will never make it obvious to you or anyone else that it doubles as a keyboard. it does a good job of protecting the screen.I recommend this product if you're not going to do a lot of typing (i.e. write essays and documents) even then, it will take you a while to get used to the key placements. The track pad is not that impressive, and I found myself having to rely on my wireless mouse more often.

Rated 4 out of5 by fromMuch better than the originalThe Touch Cover 2 is a vast improvement over the original. The extra sensors make typing with a light touch much easier. The backlighting is subtle - just perfect. The only drawback is the trackpad. It's pretty terrible.Works great with the Surface Pro 1 and with the now-discontinued bluetooth bar thing.

Rated 4 out of5 by fromtouch cover 2Great replacement for the original touch cover, no issues with track pad.Preferred the left and right mouse buttons below the track pad, however once you get use to it, it works fine.

Rated 4 out of5 by fromIt's OKNot the newest one in the market, so cannot expect that much. Keyboard is not 100% responsive and you need to keep an eye opened at what you are typing.
