Free Recycling

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and waste batteries must never be placed in your waste disposal or recycling bins.

WEEE is taken back free of charge at electrical retail outlets on a one-for-one like-for-like basis. There is a bin for small batteries in your local store.

Local authority civic amenity facilities also take back WEEE and waste batteries free of charge. WEEE and waste battery recycling is free.

To find a local amenity drop-off and recycling site visit www.erp-recycling.ie/consumers

Microsoft will also take back old product (WEEE), free of charge, on a one for one equivalent basis within 30 days of delivery by Microsoft, for example, an old keyboard will be taken back where a new keyboard has been purchased. To organise take-back, contact weee@microsoft.com.

Alternatively, drop off your WEEE and waste batteries at www.microsoft.com/ireland/about/map.aspx
