Marcus Fenix

Dominic Santiago

A seasoned fighter who's positive even in the darkest of hours, Dominic Santiago freed his best friend Marcus Fenix from Jacinto Maximum Security Prison and recruited him into Delta Squad. His battlefield intensity is rivaled only by his loyalty to Marcus.

Augustus Cole

Private Augustus "Cole Train" Cole was once a successful Thrashball player known for his hard-hitting and flamboyant style. After Emergence Day, Cole joined the military and brought that same grit and intensity to the battlefield. Cole has spent most of his military career alongside his friend Damon Baird.

Damon Baird

Private Damon Baird is a dedicated tech-head and professional skeptic. In Baird's world, if something can go wrong it probably already has. His sarcasm can keep people at a distance, which is why Baird prefers the company of machines. Baird longs to one day command a squad of his own and sees his recent reassignment as a step in the right direction.

Anya Stroud

As Delta's Control contact, Anya Stroud guides Delta Squad through their mission to destroy the Locust. She provides vital intel and strategic advice to the squad in the field and adds a calm, steady human voice during the most desperate of struggles.

Colonel Victor Hoffman

A military man to the core, Colonel Victor Hoffman demands discipline and sacrifice from those under his command. Hoffman's strict adherence to these ideals has caused him to cross swords with Marcus Fenix. Hoffman's testimony helped convict Marcus of dereliction of duty, although Hoffman later promoted him to sergeant out of necessity.

Dizzy Wallin

A former Stranded turned reluctant soldier, Dizzy Wallin is torn between his distrust for the Coalition and doing what's right for his family. As the Locust war escalated, Dizzy realized he was endangering his family by living outside Jacinto's secure walls. Signing on with Operation Lifeboat, he joined the COG military in exchange for asylum for his wife and two daughters.

Chairman Prescott

As a boy, Prescott watched his father and grandfather, themselves politicians, guide Sera through difficult times. Now, Prescott has enacted several orders that grant the Coalition sweeping authority to help defeat the Locust. These decisions have made him unpopular, but Prescott remains dedicated to ensuring humanity's survival - no matter the cost.

Anthony Carmine

As the youngest member of Delta Squad, what Private Anthony Carmine lacks in combat experience, he makes up for in unbridled enthusiasm and respect for veterans like Dom and Marcus. However, unlike the senior Delta members, Carmine prefers to wear the standard COG-issued helmet to protect his head.

Boomers

The Boomshot is a devastating grenade/rocket launcher hybrid that can dispatch an enemy with a single shot. Fortunately, with the Boomshot's long load time and the Boomers' habit of shouting "Boom!" before each blast, you should have little trouble finding cover.

Boomers (Butcher)

Butcher Boomers spend their days inside the Hollow chopping up Rockworm meat and preparing meals for hungry Locust soldiers. Beware of their razor-sharp cleavers or you might become dinner.

Boomers (Flame)

Flame Boomers are armed with the Scorcher Flamethrower. Like most Boomers, Flame Boomers are susceptible to headshots, or you can target the Imulsion canisters strapped to their backs for a more fiery outcome.

Boomers (Maulers)

The well-armored, aggressive Maulers rumble headlong into battle, swinging their devastating explosive flails in your face. Maulers also carry shields, which they duck behind for protection, until you get too close and they rush you. To survive, aim carefully and outmaneuver the lumbering brutes.

Drones

Drones are natural followers, lacking the intelligence and creativity for complex field maneuvers. But what they lack in tactical knowledge, they make up for in sheer numbers. Half a dozen Drones can quickly pour out of an emergence hole at any given moment and overwhelm the unsuspecting with Boltok and Hammerburst fire.

Grenadiers

Locust Grenadiers are never afraid to get up close and personal. They have a hard-charging kamikaze attack and rush their enemy with little concern for their own welfare. They specialize in both grenades and the Gnasher Shotgun, drawing their targets out of cover with one before blasting them to pieces with the other.

Kantus

Little is known about the shadowy, monk-like figures called the Kantus. In battle, the Kantus rely on the Gorgon Pistol and Ink Grenades for protection. But the true danger lies in their ability to rally injured Locust back into the fray, which makes the Kantus your top priority during a firefight.

Snipers

Expert marksmen, Locust snipers wield the Longshot Sniper Rifle with unnerving accuracy and relish the opportunity to pop off a headshot. Snipers are easy to recognize by their signature infrared goggles.

Theron Guards

These elite Locust soldiers carry a signature weapon, the Torque Bow. Therons often act as field commanders and have advanced knowledge of military tactics. It only takes one false move on the battlefield for a Theron to fire an explosive-tipped arrow square between your eyes.

Fragmentation Grenade

This explosive attached to a chain can be used both as a projectile and as a melee weapon. Its launch system works similar to a classic bolo, in which you twirl the weapon to build momentum before releasing it.

Gorgon Pistol

A semiautomatic pistol favored by the Locust Kantus, it's one of the highest-caliber weapons, with a dual clip that squeezes off two rounds simultaneously and makes it extremely lethal, especially at close range.

Torque Bow

The Torque Bow fires high-powered, explosive-tipped arrows that discharge shortly after contact. Because of the bow's unique targeting reticule, which maps the arrow's trajectory, the Torque Bow is one of the most accurate weapons, especially at long distances.

Boltok Pistol

The Boltok is a high-caliber magnum sidearm that fires devastating single blasts. The pistol's powerful rounds are offset by its small clip and slow reload, but a perfect active reload lets you rearm and fire faster.

Boomshot

A Locust short- to mid-range grenade launcher that can easily take down a target in a single shot. The projectile produces several smaller explosions after the initial blast. But it suffers a slow reload time and should never be used at close range - the force of the explosion may kill you along with the target.

Troika

The Troika is a high-powered, turret-mounted Locust machine gun that fires continuous rounds across the battlefield. If you're in a Troika's line of fire, take cover immediately. A few direct hits can tear the human body limb from limb.
