| COMPATIBLE OPERATING SYSTEMS |
COMPATIBLE BROWSERS | ||
|---|---|---|---|
| Windows 7 | Internet Explorer 8 or higher | ||
| Windows Vista | Internet Explorer 7, 8 or 9 | ||
| Windows XP | Internet Explorer 7 or 8 |
NOTE: Download Manager is not compatible with all computers. For Macs or for computers with browsers that aren’t compatible with Internet Explorer 7 or higher, please use the standard browser download instead. The option to download via your browser can be found on your Account Profile page.
At any time during the download, you can click the PAUSE button to pause the download. You can resume the download by clicking the RESUME button.
To cancel a download, close the Download Manager using the Close [X] button at the top right corner of the Download Manager window.
When you cancel a download, go back to your Download and Product Keys page in Microsoft Store to proceed with the download. The portion of your software that you have already downloaded remains on your computer–you do not have to download it again from the beginning.
When your software download is complete, you can click the green Install button to begin the software installation immediately, or you can click the Show Folder button to open the folder where your software was downloaded. In the Download folder, you can launch the setup or upgrade program.
Tip: Keep a copy of the Product Key which may be needed when installing, registering, or activating your product(s). If you click the link “Copy Product Key” on the Download Manager window, you will have it ready to paste when prompted. The product key for each product you have purchased and downloaded is also displayed on your Download and Product Keys page in Microsoft Store.
You can specify the folder for your software downloads and select whether or not you want a shortcut created on your desktop that will enable you to install the software you are downloading.
The default download folder is displayed on the Settings page. All your software downloads are saved to this folder so you can easily find them. To change the default location, click the Browse button and then specify a new folder for downloads.
