Overview

A stylus and fine-tipped steel pen in one

A stylus and fine-tipped steel pen in one

On one side, it’s a great digital stylus, and with a twist of the barrel, a fine-tipped steel pen emerges from the other side.

The fine tip gives you accuracy that rubber nibs can’t. The precision disc lets you see exactly where your mark is being made. The sound dampening tip simulates the natural contact of writing with a pen on paper. The durable steel gives Jot Flip superior conductivity and craftsmanship comparable to any luxury pen. And Jot Flip’s ink cartridges are refillable.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromBetter off with an ink pen and surface penI bought this thinking it would be GREAT! It is only okay. There is a disc at the tip that is not permanently attached and will come off in your shirt pocket that must be attached or the Surface will not recognize it. With the disc you must change to OneNote to draw with touch - then the tip is recognized as a finger. This is okay but the Surface Pen is much better. Maybe someday MS will come out with a combo so I can write on paper, flip and write on my Surface easily. This is not that product.

Rated 4 out of5 by fromThe Jot Flip Fine Point Stylus is a perfect add-onIf you have a Windows Phone or Tablet, that does not work with an active stylus, then buy one of these. While common rubber tipped stylus is better than a fat finger, these give you mouse pointer like accuracy . I used it for painting with Fresh Paint, drawing in SketchBook (excellent app), input into Office apps like Word and Excel, and just love it. I may even order the smaller size so I can keep a couple with me. One thing, I always make sure I screw the cap back on before I put it in my pocket or carrying bag, it looks rather delicate , and others have said that they broke the tip off.The only thing missing is a shirt clip, so it can clip in a pocket, that is why I gave a 4, and because its round, it roll with-out it.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromMost like pen and paperI love my Jot. It allows me to mark-up PDF's and other documents during meetings and save them. Voila. Now I don't print out a paper; write on it; and, scan in my notes. HURRAY! Saves time and resources.

Rated 3 out of5 by fromThe product works, but the screen does not cooperaThis is actually what I was looking for. I have a Surface RT mostly because what I needed the most from a tablet was for it to be portable, super lightweight, have USB, and most importantly, run Office. I am a college student. I need Office. However, there was one thing I was jealous of when compared to the Surface Pro. That was the pen. You could write on the Pro's screen as if it were paper. I stumbled upon this stylus and noticed I could get the same fine lines as I would get from a Pen. However, what kills it is the screen of the Surface RT models. They dont have the same palm recognition, so I couldnt rest my palm on the Surface, which made writing extremely uncomfortable. If you have a Surface Pro, well, your pen is better than this stylus, but I bet this pen will be more comfortable to use than on the RT.

Rated 2 out of5 by fromStopped workingI had this for about 2 weeks. It worked well the first week or so but then became really unresponsive and slow. I know it was the pen because my other stylus was functioning perfectly with the screen. Eventually it completely stopped responding so returned it. It was a good product while it worked and the pen tip is really nice for writing.
