Welcome to the after party

Welcome to the after party

Available exclusively for Xbox One, Dead Rising 3 marks the return of one of the most popular zombie video game franchises. Set 10 years after the events of Fortune City in Dead Rising 2, you're introduced to Nick Ramos, a young mechanic with a strange tattoo and a mysterious past, who must find a way to escape a city full of zombies before an impending military strike wipes the city of Los Perdidos, California, and everyone in it, off the map. Nick can’t do it alone—he must join up with other survivors to stay alive and fight their way out before it’s too late.

This Day One edition includes the Dead Rising Tribute Pack with exclusive game content and bonus attribute perks:

The Classic Frank West outfit includes Frank's Zombie Slugger weapon, extra-gory attacks, and a custom skill move. Also included are attribute perks for increased melee damage and tougher survivors.

The Official Chuck Greene outfit features a Paddle Saw combo weapon that cuts through zombie hordes with increased damage and durability. Also included are attribute perks for vehicle and weapon durability.

Ratings and reviews

Rated 4 out of5 by fromDead Rising 3 doesn't disappoint!Dead Rising 3 throws you into a whole new world brimming edge to edge with the undead. Unlike the previous two games, you have a full city to explore, and can now make weapons ANY WHERE! The amount of zombies on screen at once is pretty insane, and the intensity is always there and building. The atmosphere is a little more grim, which is a nice change, and you also play as a new character, Nick, who fits into the survival role nicely. I'm not very far in, but I've already been having a blast with the weapon system, as well as SmartGlass for Xbox One. Not only is Dead Rising 3 an exclusive launch title, but the free SmartGlass app gives you exclusive content, as well as a live interactive city map, and extra missions! There is also online co-op which lets you select your preferred player type such as: Explorer/completionist/, Rusher/Speed Player, etc...GRAPHICS: 8/10 GAMEPLAY: 8/10 SOUND: 8/10 CONTENT: 10/10

Rated 4 out of5 by fromGreat GameThe game was Awesome but I was not impress of the last part of this game.it would be better if its not the general will be the final boss. A hard boss that would challenge you up like the 3 headed dog that's been mutated or a giants head lest undead(almost perfect for me)

Rated 5 out of5 by fromAddictive actionI got this game as a gift and did not think I would enjoy it as much as I have. This is the first Dead Rising I have even tried and it has kept me up until 3am multiple times. Some of the items in the game are so awesome that they make up for the other, not so cool vehicles and weapons.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromAwesome Game! But NOT for the young...I bought the Xbox 1 from a friend and he gave me a couple of games, one of which was Dead Rising 3. The graphics were pretty awesome, but what struck me most was the story that came along with it. (I should mention that I'm an older gamer that hasn't played many of the newer games, so the rich and complex story was pretty fascinating.) This is a rich world with an eclectic cast of characters. I found myself caring for their well-being in this harsh, new world. The world that has been created has so many features and nooks and crannies where new items/people/stories can be found that I've completed the game several times and will probably play it again soon because that is how rich this world is.There is a reason for the zombie outbreak. (Previous versions have explored this to some degree, from what I understand.) There are people who need saving, but there are also others with stories that may join you and take you on some extra adventures. Some of the people are good, some that you save you find out they are bad, but you have to follow through to find out. Just remember, you are the good guy so go in with that attitude. I've played Nick (the main character) as a selfish man, but THAT Nick will not complete the game to the very end. As Nick completes the main story, there are revelations that not only move the story along but add to the rich history of the whole universe.I recommend this game but there is a TON of gore - which is pretty cool for me, but NOT FOR EVERYONE. Special weapons can be created (which is pretty awesome) and they have special kill features (which is even awesomer!), but again, they are pretty brutal, inhuman, and gory.
