Ratings and reviews

Rated 1 out of5 by fromToo many problemsI got this March 2014 and it has had problems the whole time. First it had trouble connecting to Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi would suddenly cut out and would take anywhere from a couple minutes to a full day to start working again. This went on for a couple months before I fixed it. Then, just this month, the month after the warranty expired, it started overheating and crashing AND started having the ghosting issue on the screen. It would be a decent computer without these problems, but still not very worth it (pretty fast, decent screen, poor battery, heavy for its size). Lenovo has really gone downhill.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromFantastic product + Excellent service from MSI'm a very picky buyer. I research to death a product online before deciding to buy it. I tested the TPY at MS stores and after reading hundreds of reviews, was convinced this is the right product for me. I'm very satisfied with the product. The online shopping experience on MS Store was very pleasant. The return, warranty and shipping policies are very clear and easy to understand. Most importantly, MS Store had the best price for this configuration. Overall, an excellent purchase and couldn't be happier.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromBest for College StudentsI bought mine 3 weeks ago. I was debating between a surface pro 3, hp envy 13, and lenovo ideapad yoga. however, the microsoft store sales rep mentioned about the lenovo thinkpad yoga. i saw the backlit keyboard, the smooth trackpad, and also the spacious keyboard (all about the keyboard). One of the best buys i have ever had and no complaints so far. Just make sure to install all the updates and every issue i encountered, i found a solution online.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromGreat Keyboard, great screen and it really works!Lovin' it! I owned Dells for the last 10 years and tried the Dell Venue Pro with the Core i5. Disaster. I sent it back twice and finally bought this one. Wow! Solid build, great screen and keyboard. The touchpad is great and the touchscreen operates almost flawlessly (maybe one malfuntion in 4 weeks, easily corrected.Boots up in a snap. I'm even starting to like Windows 8.I have always used a mouse, but I find that with this machine I tend to use the touchpad, pointer stick and the occasional finger-to-the-screen method. If you're used to Windows 7, this interface takes time to get used to and really utilize fully. Haven't started using the pen yet, other than playing with it a little. Lots of new software tricks for this old dog to learn.I usually use it in laptop mode, but the tablet is occassionally useful for checking mail over a cup of coffee or reading Polybius on Kindle. Nice to have the option.Definitely sold on Lenovo's awesome quality and clean smart design. Very good experience with the Microsoft Store's customer service and lack of bloatware.I use this for business.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromIt is not just for business.I am a senior undergraduate studying for computer science and I think all students would benefit greatly from this laptop. The digitizer pen included allows for precise note taking in class. I have used other digitizer pens that were loud like tapping glass as your writing but this one is barely audible. Speaking of glass this thing has the tough corning gorilla glass! Speaking of tough the power cord connection is square which makes it much more tougher than old round style power connections. Furthermore, I really like this computer because it has the cozy feel of a tried and true laptop yet it also converts into a tablet for robust note taking. Also, the thinkpad style keyboard really helps with coding. I have tried other late model 2in1s so I can say with experience that the thinkpad S1 yoga 2in1 is the best of them all and thinkpad really do live up to their solid name. Hopefully lenovo's next thinkpad iteration is a 13.3" screen with 4k resolution that incorporates a digitizer since small screen tablets do not fit every bodies situation. The only thing I don't like about the laptop is the "Yoga" name, I rather they go back to numbers and letters, like thinkpad r360 would have been fitting...

Rated 5 out of5 by fromPerfect.I've been using it for 2 months. It is super good. I got a Samsung ATIV Book Plus first but because of the color issues on that I change it to ASUS Zenbook. The Asus one had a lot of problems and I eventually changed it to Lenovo. So far it works flawlessly.
