Ratings and reviews

Rated 4 out of5 by fromWifi and Battery issuesIn an answer to the wifi issues written under:Bluehaha 11 months agoThe devices sold on Microsoft are with Miracast Wifi adaptors. If you purchase through Levono they are Intel which only make since do to compatibility with Intel Processors, Intel chipsets, and graphics. Why Microsoft doesn't stick with tried and true is beyond me.

Rated 4 out of5 by fromSo far, so good ...I have had this machine for several weeks now and am impressed with its performance. Haven't used the 'tablet' configuration yet, but everything I have tried until now seems to work as advertised. The physical configuration is well designed and sturdy. The combination of i7 processor and 256 Gb SSD gives this little baby real computing power and speed, which makes it suitable for both work and play.

Rated 3 out of5 by fromGreat in some areas but lacking in othersI bought this primarily to take notes and do math homework in OneNote. I had issues with the screen staying calibrated for use with the pen. It would lose calibration over a half hour of use or so. The other issue I had with it was with the track pad. It has pretty long travel before clicking. And it produced an incredibly loud and annoying clicking sound. The good: great build quality. The whole computer felt pretty solid, including the lifting mechanism around the keyboard. Performance was also great with the i7 processor and SSD.As far as the keyboard and trackpoint go I thought they did a really good job. The keys had good travel for a laptop this thin. I think the trackpoint could have been better supported by a touchpad that didn't require so much travel, or they could have left in the dedicated mouse buttons from previous versions of Thinkpads.I really wanted to like this computer but I did end up returning it as I could not use it for the main reason I purchased it. If Lenovo fixes those two issues and comes out with a Thinkpad Yoga 2 I would consider purchasing one.

Rated 3 out of5 by fromWifi problems and not enough battaryI bought this two weeks ago, and returned next day. Major problem is that wifi doesn't work right. I googled the problem and people said, thinkpad yoga and other thinkpads also ideapads come with intel wifi card that doesn't work properly with windows 8 or 8.1.If I have to down grade to windows 7, what is the purpose of 2 in 1? And also the screen size is little smaller than I thought. 13" yoga pro has much better display than 12.5" thinkpad yoga.Nonetheless, thinkpad yoga has great frame case, design, and keyboard; I give three stars. I will wait for next year hoping improvement for wifi and better screen.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromBest Labtop with Digitizer Pen even in 2015Purchased in Scottsdale AZ. I paid extra for the warranty and I knew I wouldn't need a warranty. I have had absolutely no problems with this machine. The only thing that can beat this machine is My dream laptop which would be a Lenovo with any pen technology or even a digitizer pen laptop/tablet with 16 GB of memory and a 1 TB hard drive and the ability to run another 1 TB SD card in the SD card slot, dual graphics ability both Intel HD graphics and a NIVDIA with at least 2-4 GB of memory. A 4k QHD display and 4 high quality cameras one in the front one in the back and one on each side with a 4k video camera built into the side a built in projector. and an e-ink reader as a second screen under the keyboard with a TI-NSPIRE CAS graphing calculator with it's own 4 inch color screen built in next to the e-ink reader. On the outside of the top I would like a little 2 inch screen with an alarm clock and a radio with a built in light that has a virtual sunrise and sunset feature to wake me up and put me to sleep. OK well that is all that I would like on my dream computer it isn't asking for much.

Rated 4 out of5 by fromBought it for the specs and versatilityThe only thing that I find faulty is the stylus. It isn't what I expected to be and I cannot seem to find it useful. Because of this I keep thinking that I should have bought the surface pro 3.I considered it instead of the surface because I want to upgrade the hard drive and that was not possible with the surface. All in all it is a good product but the stylus disappointed me.

Rated 4 out of5 by fromSolid ComputerThis is a good computer with many strong points. The keyboard feels great as you would expect from a ThinkPad. Initially the two-finger scrolling on the trackpad was a little balky as someone else mentioned, but now after a few weeks of usage it seems to work properly. Booting is very fast taking only 7 or 8 seconds. The screen is high quality with exactly full HD resolution making movie viewing a pleasure. Just flip the keyboard under to watch in bed. It's also the perfect resolution for mirroring to an HDTV. For general computing tasks, however, I'm not particularly fond of the 16 by 9 aspect ratio it shares with many current laptops. Toolbars leave little vertical room to work with. (I think the Surface Pro 3 has the right idea with the new 3 by 2 ratio, but then you have to compromise on the keyboard.)The computer is compact and light for a laptop, but in reality a bit heavy to make a proper tablet. I like the minimalist styling and sturdy construction. The webcam is mediocre--very grainy in low light--and perhaps the one feature that doesn't seem befitting of this solid computer.

Rated 4 out of5 by fromPerfect size and high performanceHave been using the ThinkPad Yoga for a couple of weeks. Love the compact size and great performance. Only issue I have is one of the key is a bit loose and makes noise, and the left USB port drops connection every now and then. Other than that it's perfect.
