Ratings and reviews

Rated 3 out of5 by fromUSB port malfunctions, so you can't charge the phone. Can't replace USB because it is attached to mother board.I was happy with this phone, especially because it is as basic as a smart phone can get. But that USB port is an issue with many consumers, a glitch I guess, and is the only reason I would not recommend this phone.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromIm AmazedI'm amazed with this phone, why? Because I have been through four of them and they keep messing up (hence why I've been through four#. It's sad because I really like this phone. However, I've had so many problems with it. For instance, Cortana #which is a feature I love about this phone because she's so accurate and convenient when it comes to answering and reminding you of things. Also she searches fast.# no longer speaks on start up and my voice no longer starts her up anymore, my volume down button stopped working on all of the phones I had owned now and previously, my screen projection decided not to work anymore, my Bluetooth doesn't connect to hardly any devices, my phone doesn't give me any notifications either! Also, my last phone deleted things with no help from me, OneDrive on my last phone did not upload any photos but three, my phone randomly vibrates for about thirty to forty seconds for no reason #I literally can be on the web and poof it begins vibrating. I can be doing nothing and it does it!#, when I'm on the internet it'll kick me off #I know its not the wifi I use because I've used other peoples not just mine and it does it. Surely everyone's wifi isn't bad), its restarts, my last ones screen went blue and now it doesn't turn on period.I've had many problems with these phones, but I really do like them. Why you say after all my complaints? Only phone I find easy to use, it has office, it has sooo many apps, when it works right its so convenient, its small, the ear piece is clear, takes great pictures, and has good memory.I just wish I didn't have so many problems and didn't have to replace it every few months. I do love this phone I hope they fix all of its kinks because it is a good phone and very affordable.

Any kind of music you want.Battery life also last a long time. The internet is very quick.Over all this phone is a 10 in my book.

Rated 3 out of5 by fromGood Phone with Heat IssuesOne of the things I like the most in the Nokia/Microsoft phones is the camera technology. The auto-contrast on the camera is outstanding. One downside is that the 635 will heat up greatly at times, if left in a backpack, for example. It is very responsive to touch input. The separate frame (but part of the overall touch screen) for the "back", "home", and "search" does not respond as well as a hardware level navigation (eg. 521). At times I think the software logic gets confused if I'm touching a navigation button or simply some lower part of the screen. I would definitely prefer separate hard/soft navigation buttons. I would still buy this phone again, but the heat does seem to be an issue and concerns me a little bit. I give the 635 a rating of 3.5.
