Ratings and reviews

Rated 5 out of5 by fromMust have accessory to accommodate Surface Pro 3!I bought this a week ago along withe the Surface Pro 3. I used the Surface Pro 3 to replace my laptop, so the docking station makes it handy to dock my tablet and use a larger screen. I am an Engineering student so being able to dock the tablet to work on larger reports is handy. It is also extremely handy for record keeping for my business. I also enjoy how the sides slide open to the tablet is easily connected to the docking station. Only downside is Urban Armour Gear case does not fit into docking station.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromWorks fine but bad angle for workingI have been using the Surface Pro 3 for about a week, including the docking station. I love the Surface! But I do not like the angle the screen sits at when it's in the docking station; it's so upright that it is not comfortable to look at. I stopped using the docking station a few days ago and have my Surface angled less upright. I am much happier with the ergonomics of my setup now. Some downsides here, such as I only have one USB port available to me (could buy an expander). If the docking station angle could be changed I would love it. Sadly, it's just a $200 dust-catcher for me.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromExactly what I neededThis Product gives Surface users not 1, but a total of 3 additional USB 3.0 ports, 2 USB 2.0 ports, an Ethernet, and a mini display port by utilizing the built-in extra wiring in the charging port to transmit information at an outstanding rate between all devices. I can even run video games through a USB 3.0 port on the docking station with no visible lag or reduction in quality. I found it to be worth the money.

Rated 4 out of5 by fromEasy to useI'm mainly using this in my living room, connecting my TV with HDMI adaptor (Yes have to pay extra for that) and HDMI cable while charging my surface. Up to now, the dock is working good. Sometimes it disconnects when I move the dock or table... That is pretty dissatisfying though but not a huge deal.
