Overview

The future of warfare is now

From one of the co-creators of Call of Duty and other key developers behind the Call of Duty franchise, the entirely multiplayer Titanfall is set in a distant frontier torn apart by war. You have the freedom to switch between fighting as an elite assault pilot or an agile, heavily armored, 24-foot-tall Titan.

The game drops you into a conflict between the Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation (IMC) and the Militia that juxtaposes small vs. giant, natural vs. industrial, and man vs. machine.

The Frontier

Many generations of humanity live in the deepest reaches of explored space, a vast region known as the Frontier. It contains numerous well-known and inhabited solar systems, but many more worlds remain uncharted.

The Militia

The Frontier Militia represents the military arm of the Frontier systems' territorial defense pact. The Militia is a loosely governed mishmash of homesteaders, bandits, mercenaries, and pirates.

Titans

Titans are descendants of present-day fledgling military exoskeletons. In addition to the obvious combat applications, unarmed Titans are used in heavy industries like cargo transport and deep space ship salvage.

Pilots

The Frontier contains Pilots of many different styles and experiences. Titan Pilots are rated by certifications, most of which apply to civilian applications, such as construction, shipping, and heavy salvage industries.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromSo under rated!I like the previous reviewer am completely hooked on this game. It got mixed to negative reviews when it was released so I did not play until a few months ago. It now is a nightly ritual for me to play... It is online multi-player only and you must have an Xbox Live Gold account to play however it is worth it IMO. Get this game - it's a steal at this price!

Rated 5 out of5 by fromAwesome!I love online shooters. COD, Battlefield, etc. When I first got the game, I wasn't sure what to expect. By the end of my first match, I considered Titanfall the funnest shooter I had ever played. Absolutely awesome!

Rated 2 out of5 by fromNot a completed game. 4 stars avg? impossibleImagine put COD, Halo, Destiny, especially CS into one game. Excited?! No! Try think Halo without single player mode and any story line, and needs level up to unlock weapons and characters, OR CS which asks players to level up so they can buy m4a1. How many people would love a game like that?If I'm just playing a game totally like CS, that might be fine. But level up? Must be joking. It is disrespect to the people who insert a CD and start to play a game like CS (which is not even like it) in Xbox. A story line and single player mode is a MUST in a console game like this.Feel sorry for those who bought at $60. Don't buy until there is a unbelievable good deal. If future updates will offer a complete single player mode or make this game complete in any way, there might be a hope to save this game.
