Rated 1 out of5 by fromWarning! Do not buy. 24/7 static. 4 returns.I purchased the stereo headset for Xbox One. Came with the defective stereo headset adapter. It causes static noises 24/7 after you get the controller update. I had to return these to Gamestop 4 times already. Every single pair has been defective. One pair even had crooked ear parts. The 4th pair the material covering the ears are all messed up. Had fingerprints all over it while still in box. Returning it for 5th time! DO NOT UPDATE these thru Xbox One controller update. Will cause permanent static noises. Can't remove controller update to fix it. Research stereo headset adapter issue on google. Many people are effected by the 24/7 problem. Do not buy!

Rated 4 out of5 by fromGood HeadsetBest sound for a $79 headset. The bass is almost as good as a $300 headset I also own for the 360. I have read other posts about crackling sounds, and I too had issues which turned out to be Xbox One Update issues with adapter, which so far they have since fixed. So unless you want to pay double the money for a slightly better headset, I would buy these. IMHO it is not worth another $80 for the alternative headsets out there to barely notice a quality difference. My only beef is there is no mic monitoring which means you do not hear yourself talk through your headset speakers and sometimes end up talking too loud., but from what I understand the other new headsets do not support mic monitoring either.

Rated 4 out of5 by fromA good headsetAmazing audio quality where you can hear both the game and your friends clearly but, with a good things comes flaws, 2 in particular. Where the mic is placed distant and doesn't pick up much. Don't plan on using your soft inside voice whilst using it. It has great sound proof cups but so great you ca r hear yourself and never know how loud you're really talking.Other than those this headset is great, has only 1 wire plugged into your controller and can be plugged into your phone or computer for headphones if you need them there.

Rated 4 out of5 by fromFirst gaming headset. This is my first headset for gaming. So I can't really compare them to anything. But I was reading a bunch of reviews on turtle beaches and these. I decided on these because I have read they here really good for the price and I can't justify paying more then 100 on turtle beaches, since I don't game all that much now a days. If anyone is like me these are a good headset to buy. They have great surround sound. The reason I did not give 5 stars is that they are not wireless. But none the less they are a great head set.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromExceptionalI read a lot of reviews comparing headsets and found that these were as advertised. They shut out most of the ambient noise around you allowing you to hear the action with great clarity. I wear them while my wife is vacuuming so that I can hear the tv and it shuts out the vacuum noise almost entirely. With the exception of the sound breaking up on occasion while I'm wireless on the controller, it is perfect. I highly recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromPretty Amazing ExperienceJust what I was looking for. With the addition of game and movie audio to this new generation, this headset is exactly what the doctor ordered for a gamer dad with a baby who goes to be early. Now I can play videos or games as loud as I want without worrying about waking my daughter.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromHorribleMy first one lasted two months before the mic stopped working. MS replaced it under warranty. Now after about a year and a half the replacement has failed in the same way... mic stopped working. I think the wiring used is too thin and fragile. Even when it was working it was extremely annoying because you couldnt hear your own voice in the earpieces like I could on my old Turtle Beach headset on the XB360. I have four iPad of various generations, two iPod Touches, and two Apple TVs. Guess what... all are working as new... years and years later. Not one glitch. Perfect. But every single MS product I've ever owned has been utter misery and this headset is no exception. This controller, headset, and audio attachment is a step backward into the 1980s. Wait, for the headset that should mean an improvement, because my 80s German-made headset is still going strong.
