Rated 5 out of5 by fromMore convenienceI bought this product to get rid of the hassel of finding the batteries I purchase when the in-controller ones die. I love the ease of the rechargeable battery that you simply just plug in. It also provided a chord for me to do the updates for the controllers and to have fast reaction time. Its a great accessory and honestly I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new controller or is buying an xbox one for the first time. The price is better then buying a controller and then a separate charge kit

Rated 5 out of5 by fromGot this bundle at a good deal on Black FridayBesides getting an extra controller you get a quality battery and a charging cable, the battery has a good battery life. I am an occasional gamer and my controller can last for days without being charged.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromOwn Two, Neither Charge at all.I also have two official XBox One Wireless Controller with plug and play kits. Neither of the batteries charge. I've tried swapping out the batteries, but neither battery charges with either controller. Controller works okay with double-a batteries or having the usb cable connected. The first one came with Day One purchase/gift for the XBox One. It never worked, and have been using AA batteries or the USB cord for power. The second I purchased today, a year and some days later. They both have their firmware updated. This is either a truly bizarre coincidence, or there is something faulty with the battery/wiring. The highest the charge for both has been 50% (as received shipped), wore down to 0%, and stays at 0%.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromBattery does not fit properlyI bought this 3 months ago and the battery inside shakes loose during game play when it vibrates. I constantly get a message that the battery is low in the controller while playing or the controller will turn off completely! I don't think the rechargeable battery inside is the correct fit just yet for game play.

Rated 4 out of5 by fromOverall Good! The Xbox One controller is a solid piece of work. The sticks are smooth, the buttons are quick to press and the triggers are comfortable. The play and charge kit is practically a necessity, and is a shame that it doesn't come with the console. A few issues I have with the controller involve the fact that the grip on the sticks, although doing their job effectively, are ultimately painful/annoying during long play sessions. The bumper buttons also have an issue in which they must be pressed by curling your knuckles, which you may get used to. Overall the controller is good and deserves a try prior to purchase to see if you can get into the new feel.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromBest controller yet! This is the best controller that Microsoft has made. I have had the Xbox One for a couple of months now and I have had no problems with the controller. I have dropped it 1 foot or 2 off the ground a couple of times and it still works great. It fits great in my hands and I love the new impulse triggers and the 39 other changes they have made.
