What's the difference between the Wireless Keyboard 2000 and other wireless keyboards? This one features Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), so what you're typing-your personal and business information-gets encrypted over the air between your keyboard and computer.

The Wireless Keyboard 2000 has a pillow-textured palm rest for support and comfort. Plus, it's simple to use-just plug in the transceiver and you're ready to go.

  • With Hot Keys, you can quickly get to things you use a lot, like the zoom and audio controls
  • Just press the Windows Start Button to launch your Start menu and search your PC or the web if you're running Windows 10, 7 or Vista
  • Battery status indicator lets you see how much power you have left at a glance
  • Shortcut keys can put your most frequently used tools, like the calculator and audio controls, at your fingertips with just a single keystroke
  • Wireless USB transceiver lets you work where you want to without worrying about tangled cables

Ratings and reviews

Rated 5 out of5 by fromHighly recommendedI bought this keyboard and mouse combo 2000 a week ago and I love it, the keyboard is very comfortable and both the function keys as upper white can be programmed as required; the mouse is also excellent , I'm really happy with them.

Rated 4 out of5 by fromNo instructionsSo this keyboard features five programmable buttons, but there are no instructions on how to program them -- not in the box and not here on the Microsoft website. It's inconceivable that there are no instructions. Who let that happen? As for the keyboard itself, it took about two minutes for the driver to load. The keys have a nice feel to them. The function keys could be a bit larger, and there should be an indicator for the CAPS LOCK and Num Lock keys. The palm rest is comfortable, as is the overall height of the keyboard.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromNot as good as promisedI bought this new combo and does not work correctly. The keyboard still hangs and has huge delays (1-2 seconds) after typing a key. This prevents you from gaming. Keys are loud when you type fast, and so do mouse buttons. If I could go back in time, I'd choose Rapoo or another wireless keyboard/mouse set. 2000's price to quality ratio is very, very poor. You have to pay a lot of money for a product that is worth maybe a quarter of it. I'm really disappointed.
