Multi-touch

A touch-enabled device is required to use any multi-touch functionality. However, all features and functionality are always available by using a keyboard, mouse, or other standard or accessible input device. Note that new touch features are optimized for use with Windows 8.

Additional System Requirements

Some functionality may vary, based on the system configuration. Some features may require additional or advanced hardware or server connectivity.

Note:   System requirements are rounded up to the nearest 0.5GB, to be conservative. For example, if we measure an application’s required hard disk space to be 1.99GB, we recommend 2.5GB of disk space. Our hard disk system requirements are intentionally larger than the actual disk space usage of the software.

A graphics processor helps increase the performance of certain features, such as drawing tables in Excel 2013 or transitions, animations, and video integration in PowerPoint 2013. Use of a graphics processor with Office 2013 requires a Microsoft DirectX 10-compliant graphics processor that has 64MB of video memory. These processors were widely available in 2007. Most computers that are available today include a graphics processor that meets or exceeds this standard. However, if you or your users do not have a graphics processor, you can still run Office 2013.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromThumbs downI bought the product with a new IBM Yoga and within two weeks it crashed. In order to get them to fix THEIR brand new software I had to pay $100.00 for their "extended" service agreement but when it crashed again (only 34 days later) I learned the "extended" services was only for 30 days! They tried to make me pay $149 more for the "annual" extended service plan. The tech couldn't fix it this time and now I have to wait 2 days for a "Level II" tech to fix it. I've owned the software for just 6 weeks and it has crashed twice and cost me an additional $149.00 not to mention the value of my down time. Just don't buy this product.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromWorks perfectly in Windows 8.1I have been using Outlook 2013 (part of Office 2013 Professional) on both my Windows 8.1 Dell Precision laptop and the RT Office 2013 suite on my Nokia Lumia tablet and both have worked perfectly from day one (about one month). I think this is the best version of Outlook yet. I always find new features that I love, but regrettably, it appear that the Follow-up reminder command has been removed from this version. That feature may be moved to a different spot in Outlook but for now, I have to set an appointment for follow-up emails when I want a reminder.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromHorribleZero stars.Outlook just stops working sometimes. Doesn't seem compatible with the latest version of Windows. The bright white interface makes it hard to see the different sections. This is the computer and Outlook version my company bought, if it was mine, I'd go back to an earlier version or use a different program. If you are thinking about buying this product, I'd buy the perviouw ver

Rated 1 out of5 by fromLets talk about Office 365 another very bad ideaI bought Office 365 last year and it crashed over and over. So I regressed to a hard copy of Office 2007 that worked fine. This Year Feb 2014 being the eternal optimist believed MICROSOFT is a smart and progressive company that given enough time corrects it errors . I was wrong; wasted another $99.00. I am running non-Microsoft browsers [Firefox and Chrome] it appears loyalty is rewarded for using a pure MICROSOFT environments but when you stray it retaliates and MICROSOFT has no driving business reason to make their software comparable with competitors browsers; I dumped Internet Explorer because it stopped working and Outlook is becoming a nightmare [ie "Forgive me but I am over protective"] if you get that error message prepare for long international discussions. There are some very nice people in Bangalore that you can conference with monthly that fix the problem(s). I am preparing to call again tomorrow, Office 365 crashed again, that is twice for Office 365 and once for Outlook. I'm lovin life.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromDO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!There are a number of issues with Outlook 2013 and Windows 8. It has been a number of months and I have not been able to get it to work properly. It works initially, and then stops working. I have looked at the forums and others are having the same issue. Wait until Microsoft fixes this before buying.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromMicrosoft 8.1 is incompatible with Outlook 2013I wish I could give you zero stars. How is it possible that your newest, supposedly best products are incompatible?! They are now officially wasting my time. You've lost a life-long customer for good.
