Rated 2 out of5 byStrudel fromNo additional 1Tb Onedrive for people same house!Pros: Great price for a 4-year product. I basically bought it because of 1Tb of space on OneDrive. It also comes with all the office programs + 60 minutes of calls through Skype every month, which can be used for international calls.Cons: On the description it says that the purchaser can “share” the subscription and get an additional 1Tb of space on OneDrive for each person in the house. I tried to “share” my subscription with my wife, and there is no way to do it!! After wasting a lot of time on the chat and the phone, it is not possible to share the subscription with other people with Office 365 University. It is only possible with Office 365 Premium.OBS: some people posted that you cannot create a new document without internet access using Office 365. That is not true. You can do it. What you can’t is access the files that are exclusively on Onedrive without internet.

Rated 5 out of5 byGradStudent2014 fromMac User - Pros / ConsAbout Me: I am a Mac user (MacBook Pro 2014), graduate student, and I have a 15 MB internet connection. I am not tech savvy.PROS: Super fast download (8mins for suite, then 1 minute for updates). It should be noted that I have a fast internet connection and a brand new, top of the line computer - users with different hardware and internet connections may have a different experience. Office suite is exactly what I expected. Love the added 1 TB storage. As a grad student, it is very important to have an external storage device (I use the WD My Passport for Mac 1 TB - which is great!), as well as a back up (thank you Office 365 University 1 TB virtual storage!). It would be terrible to make it halfway through the graduate coursework and lose you files!CONS: Does not include OneNote for Mac, as far as I can tell; however, I would not use this anyway. I had it before I made the PC -> Mac conversion on my Sony Laptop, and I thought it was terrible. The office suite for Mac is 2011, because that is the latest version. I am hesitant to put this as a con, because the upside is that when the 2013 roll-out comes for Mac I will get the upgrade with my subscription.NOTE: I do need to also mention that my spouse, who works within the technology field and is somewhat of a guru, absolutely despises the idea of "renting" software. He told me not to buy this. I am not particularly computer savvy - I use technology as a tool, or a means to an end. For a graduate student who wants the latest software without hassle, however, this is a terrific buy and easy to use! I am not sure why so many people are having download issues (PC users, maybe?), but I found the process so simple that it shocked me. By the way, I had to do all of the downloading/ updating myself because my personal geek squad - who typically does all of my setups - refused to participate with the "rental" software (I am laughing as I write this, because I have never downloaded software before and start to finish it took less than ten minutes with a few simple "clicks"). BOTTOM LINE: I love the concept and the product.

Rated 5 out of5 byschquetta fromPerfect SolutionThe software DOES give all applications (I have and use them all). The programs DO NOT require internet access to use them. I have used my applications out of web connectivity often. You can save to the local computer as well as the One Drive. You do need web to access the One Drive and documents saved there, but not items saved locally to the computer. The TB of space on the One Drive is amazing.

Rated 5 out of5 byBoo Boo fromYour rep Tony really tried so patiently to help meWhile trying to buy Microsoft office, I had to be walked through and after many attempts, I had to leave for class and could not complete the lengthy process. I was connected by Tony to a rep who assigned me a Case#1265581359 that I was to try on my return. When I returned home this evening, rep Ian had left me a voice mail. You fixed the boo boo. Thank you. Kudos and gratitude to Tony!!! Judith C <3.

Rated 5 out of5 bymwcasey fromThe Best of All Possible SolutionsI received a Macbook Air recently. Their bundled productivity apps worked poorly, at best, with my Office documents, spreadsheets and presentations created over the years. Without the powerful features of Office, the Macbook Air was of very limited use.Office 365 changed all that. I am finally moving from my beaten-up, failing PC 8 year old notebook to my new Mac! I'm thrilled. I've got the best of both worlds!
