Rated 5 out of5 by fromDoes what it should. It is a great looking case and is very protective. It was a little hard the first time putting it in the case but if you just follow the directions and don't force things it shouldn't be a problem. I do really like this case!

Rated 5 out of5 by fromI like it!!!I bought this right after I bought my surface pro 3 and I'm glad I did. I've dropped my device a couple times since then and no damage has occurred.

Rated 4 out of5 by fromBest case out there for Surface Pro 3After I purchased my Surface Pro 3, I began my search for a case. I have always been a fan of Otterbox cases and wanted something similar. Otterbox didn’t make a case for the Surface Pro 3. I was surprised to find that there weren't many options for a protective case for the Pro 3. I would be using the Pro 3 mainly in tablet form, but also wanted the option of using the keyboard when I needed it. I started looking at all the cases available. The Urban Armor case was the most similar to the Otterbox style, but if you weren't using the keyboard, there was no protection for the keyboard port opening and it would leave that area unprotected. Also, according to other reviewers, there was no access to the SD card without taking the case off. I didn’t like the thought of taking the case off every time I needed to use the SD card. I looked at two other cases and they were the same, no access to SD without taking the cover off. I went to the Microsoft site and saw the Trident Cyclops case. It was expensive in comparison to the other cases, but it appeared to have everything I wanted. It had access to the SD card and a cover piece to use over the keyboard port when using the Pro 3 in tablet mode. I ordered the case. When I first received the case, I had an issue getting the case to fit. I was following the installation directions, but couldn’t get the kickstand to fit correctly, but contacted the company and the were able to work me through by installing the kickstand first (which is completely different from installation directions, but it worked.).I really like this case. I have been using it for about a month now and I feel confident that my Pro 3 is well protected. I can use it as a tablet with the keyboard port cover but can easily remove that piece to use the keyboard when needed. I can easily access the USB port and SD port without removing the cover. It does add a little bulk to the sleek design of the Pro 3, but ill take the trade off for the protection. The only negative I have encountered is that the volume buttons are a little hard to press. It take some effort and adjusting. There is some confusion on the description on whether a screen protector is included, it was not included with mine. (I ordered the Tech Armor Clear protector and it works great with this case.)Pros:Keyboard port is covered in tablet modeSD slot, charging, and USB ports are all accessible without removing the caseProtective Rugged CaseCustomer service through Trident is responsiveCons:Expensive compared to other cases for the Pro 3Patience required when installing the kickstand cover portion of the caseVolume buttons are hard to use with caseAdds a little bulk to the Pro 3For me, the pros outweigh the cons on this one. Of all the cases available on the market for the Pro 3, this was the only one case that allows me to use all the features of the Pro 3. I would highly recommend this case, especially if you plan to use the Pro 3 in tablet mode.
