I bought a Lenovo Laptop for myself about three weeks before this purchase. I love my laptop, so I knew my daughter would love hers. It has all the features you would want for a home laptop. Plenty of GB and enough USB ports as well as a DVD drive. Love the touch screen and she will too. It is fun to play with. Windows 8 is great and has many apps and features. I am very pleased with Lenovo and Microsoft.

Rated 5 out of5 byShariMarketingPro fromCouldn't imagine not purchasing this add-on!While I haven't had to use it yet; and hopefully I never have to - for a minimal fee to have such a fabulous insurance plan, why wouldn't everybody add this protection? I don't have to worry if my computer breaks while in transit, or if I should spill anything on it. My cellphone provider has a similar plan; I've had to replace my phone 2X due to glass breakage - no questions asked; it is why I've been with them 8 years! Great customer service means everything to most of us, thank you Microsoft.

This is my first non Dell computer and so far (2 weeks) I have been super happy with the computer, its speed, design and battery life. My old laptop was bought in '07, so a bit out of date.Fast start-up, fast processing, light weight and great battery. Also, Microsoft edition so no bloat-ware! Very happy all the way around. I don't game or do much photo editing so I can't comment on that. For basic computing, word, excel, surfing, no complaints.Does show finger prints on the lid. The rest of the machine, not as much. All aluminum and nice touch/texture on the palm rest area. I would buy again!
