I bought the refurbished Xbox One while on sale during the black Friday weekend recently and received it a few days later. The unit came very neatly packed, all the components were present and accounted for and everything looked brand new and works like brand new including the controller. The free game that was offered with the deal came as a physical disc. The setup was easy and I even connected it to my satellite receiver to the One except during live TV viewing the picture was very jumpy and laggy. As nice as this option sounds, I prefer to not have a headache after just 10 minutes of viewing. I am not sure if it was the HDMI cord from the satellite receiver or if this is just a common issue but until it is resolved I will continue to watch television normally. If you're thinking about buying the refurbished Xbox One + Kinect I highly recommend it. For it seems that any issues, that others had, from a year ago have been rectified.

Almost every bad review had "missing games", this is not true they will send you codes for them through email! I got my Xbox one and works amazingly my only complaint is the refurbished sticker didn't come off very well, but there's tutorials on how to get it off all over the Internet! I suggest you pick this up its a great deal even with a little wait for the games!!

However, it was such an amazing deal so I decided to buy it. And I must say I am very happy I did! The Xbox One is just like a brand new one. There were no scratches or marks of any kind. Everything was packaged very nicely and smelled like new. I plugged the Xbox in and it worked flawlessly, once again just like new.This game comes with two free downloads. I have heard a lot of people complain that they never receive these games, but that is because they seem to be expecting a physical copy of the game. The games are downloads and it is very easy to download them. I personally would prefer a physical copy just so I can put the case next to the others (haha, like that even matters) but a digital copy is just fine when its free :). Also, with digital copies, the game is stored on the Xbox One so you can play it at any time without having to get out a disc or whatnot.This bundle also comes with Kinect. I had never tried or used Kinect before this and I am quite impressed. It is easy to use your hand to navigate through the main menu area and there are neat gestures that make certain things happen. What I really like about it, though, is how it listens to my voice. I don't have to scream at the TV, I barely even need to to speak clearly, but it very easily does what I tell it to do. It also signs me in just by having me sit down in front of it. Xbox also makes it surprisingly easy to connect to your satellite/cable service, your TV controls, or sound system controls. It somehow figures out the controls by itself so all I have to do, for example, is say "Xbox volume up" and my volume goes up.I am very, very happy with this purchase. I got an incredible deal for an incredible Xbox One that is just like new!

Xbox support suggested me to send the power supply cord to them and they will replace it for free, but I have to pay for shipping. It's so strange to hear such things when even smallest sellers on Amazon are standing by their products. Very disappointed

Rated 1 out of5 by fromVery disappointedI was really excited about getting this and after arguing over the validity of buying refurbished, I finally decided to ignore what my friends were saying and get the one with the kinect. I assumed since it was through microsoft that it would be like new. I was wrong. I continually get an error that won't let it start up. I fix it occasionally and then a new one pops up. I also was not given the game codes that it said it provided. All in all I am very disappointed and hope that I can return it for one that actually works.

This system is a true entertainment system (from gaming to television to music and movies). The particular system I have is a refurbished one, but you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between it and a brand new one. The deal that Microsoft is offering the bundle for couldn't compare to anything else or any other bundles out there. Mission accomplished Microsoft, I am now an avid Xbox consumer.
