Rated 4 out of5 byRedSix79 fromEasy to UseI've used some "user friendly" keyboards that aren't user friendly or are overly touch sensitive. This works perfectly for me. I also love the way it folds up and stays on the Surface 3.

It's light weight, yet sturdy, has a nice keystroke, and works well (I had no issues with the mousepad whatsoever...like any new laptop/device it just takes a minute to get used to it).The size is also something to get used to, if you are used to a bulky laptop or full-size desktop like I was, but once you do this is perhaps one of the best portable options on the market! The portability (and ability to touch-screen interface with the Surface) is certainly worth the smaller size!I got the "bright red" which is more like an orange, but I love it! They need to come out with green ;)

Rated 4 out of5 byguto fromGreat all around keyboardvery responsive, well sized keys, backlight is great. snaps up to the bottom of the surface for angled keyboard. I love the material they choose for the back of it. Only downsides are the addition of the magnet lock for the angled typing surface makes the surface slide around a bit when you fold it behind, and the price seems a bit high

Rated 5 out of5 byJDHIII fromOriginal Surface works with Surface 3 Type CoverAs an experiment, I purchased a Surface 3 Type Cover for my Surface. I was not sure that new keyboard would connect and work properly with original Surface. In fact, the Surface 3 Type Cover has the same connection as the Surface and Surface 2 Type Covers. Compared to older Type Covers, which have rough and jerky touchpads, this new design has a smooth texture and is extremely accurate. This Type Cover is a huge upgrade.
