Ratings and reviews

Rated 1 out of5 by fromComputer totally crippled after installing 10The install seemed to go fine. Now my computer literally cannot function. The only thing I've been able to get it to do is restart/shut down using control+ alt+ delete, and it takes 10 min for it to bring up the options screen when I got those keys. I can't even get the start menu to pop up. I don't know what to do. I'm writing this from my phone because my computer is completely and utterly unusable.

Rated 3 out of5 by fromOk, bad for HP LaptopsThere are some bugs but my main problem with this new OS is that on HP laptops you are un able to put the laptop into sleep mode, if you do the screen will go black and you need to perform a hard shutdown, which I am afraid could damage my laptop. The only fixes I've seen are temporary.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromwish I did not upgrade from Windows 7 to 10My laptop is going on a continuous restart loop. I deleted the windows 7 data to give my computer a fresh install because Kaspersky total security couldn't install. Now I'm having the hardest time getting a windows7 boot cd so I cancel this horrible windows 10 glitch. From the beginning certain programs on Windows 10 didn't work and my laptop had issues with start ups, screen going black, not being able to log in, iTunes lagging when playing music. Windows 7 was more stable and reliable.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromFLASHING SCREENTried to download this product on 8/29. When I turn on the computer, login screen comes up fine, after I hit enter, all I get is a flashing screen. My computer is now useless. I have a Dell and am trying to upgrade to 10 from Windows 8.

Rated 2 out of5 by fromCan't ActivateInstalled and it appears to be nicely laid out and manageable, so no complaints there. However, my motherboard went bad and when I replaced it, it asked to be activated. No problem I thought! I know microsoft wants a separate code for a new motherboard, and luckily I bought a Windows 7 license a few years back. Except now it says my key doesn't work. It is a key I purchased, why doesn't it work?

Rated 3 out of5 by fromTop of the Line HP Envy VERY SLOW since Upgradealmost all windows related apps/software extremely slow now . Overall disappointed. I would wait a bit before downloading Windows 10. At least if you have an HP I wrote this because I see I am not the only HP owner with this issue. Any other brands having the same problems?

Rated 1 out of5 by fromWould Not Install - Flashing Screen is All I Have!I waited for my down load with anticipation. Everything looked great until the final step...then, just a flashing screen. I cannot do anything about it. Using my iPad now to look for a solution! Computer is now totally unusable.
