Rated 5 out of5 by fromNice improvement on the old stylusIt does help my handwriting to be able to feel a little friction against the screen.

Rated 2 out of5 by fromSo difficult to remove tipsIt is impossible to remove the existing tip without damaging it. Unfortunately, the tweezer tool damages both the tip and the plastic around the tip. I'm scared to try the replacement tips as I don't want to damage those too. Is a shame.

Rated 3 out of5 by fromPen tips replacement problemThe tips need a groove for the removal tool to 'grab' hold of. For others with this problem, try wrapping a piece of masking tape around the tip, then use the tool, then remove the tape. The tool (tweezer things) will grab onto the tape. Don't use a tape without a rough surface, don't use scotch tape.Good luck!

Rated 5 out of5 by fromGood productAs someone who was dissatisfied with the stock surface pen tip, I'm happy to say that this provides 3 quality alternatives.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromThe tweezers damage the rubber tipThis device has a major design flaw. You are supposed to be using the "tweezers" in the bottom half of the kit to pull the existing tip from the pen. Since there is not enough friction, and there are no grooves in the tip, the tweezers will slide and damage the rubber of your existing tip. Whoever designed this didn't even try it on his/her pen. I can't say much about the replacement tips, because I haven't been able to swap the tips yet, even though I have the kit!

Rated 2 out of5 by fromdamages old tipBasically this set can only be used as a replacement tip. There is no easy way to extract the previous tip without damaging it.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromNot for Surface 3Note: this is not compatible with the surface 3 pen. Had a guy at the ms store test it out. So apparently the only option for surface 3 is to ask for one at an ms store. Pretty lame.
