Fails to download, let alone install. After trying multiple USB cables and failed update process the light went "orange" and bricked the headphones. Way to go Microsoft! 2 Controllers have updated firmware "updated" and headphones can't detect this and prompts for endless updates in-game, watching media. Annoying!

Rated 5 out of5 byDorian fromAwesomeComfortable, great sound quality, and easy setup. You get some great hardware with Xbox. If only Microsoft made the same style headphones for the 360.

Rated 4 out of5 byGolfPro72 fromExcellent sound, very comfortable, needs 2 changesI bought this headset on sale during the Boxing Week event through the Microsoft store after having read several reviews about it. I must say that I am very impressed with it. The headset is incredibly comfortable, the sounds is top notch, and I really like how the boom mic folds away when not in use. Very well though out design.I would change two things to make this a five star product. Number one, I would set this up so that I can hear my own voice in the headset as well. This is obviously a "nice to have" as opposed to a real problem, but I do think that while in game, it's nice to be able to hear your own voice when you talk so you don't end up yelling into the microphone. Secondly, I would make the cord that leads from the headset to the controller more durable. I haven't broken mine, but this is one very thin cord which feels quite weak. One small slip or getting it snagged is likely to snap it, and it would be an ordeal to repair it, to the point where it would be much less of a hassle to simply get a new headset (which might be a planned thing, but I hope not).Overall, an excellent product. I wouldn't pay the full MSRP for it (which is sitting at around $80+tax), but at $60 or below you can't go wrong. It rivals many of the higher end sets including those put out by Turtle Beach in terms of sound quality and is actually more comfortable to wear than those as well.
