Ratings and reviews

Rated 5 out of5 by fromBest version yet - I love it.I bought this a few months back to write my Chemistry PhD thesis, so I am using a fair spread of the features and I have to say I am impressed. I still keep finding new things that make life easier. I am really pleased I got it and so I upgraded my Pa to office 365 too and he has really taken to it quickly (which is really saying something as he is a serious technophobe). It looks quite different to the last version I was mainly using, 2003, but the change was really quite easy, at work we have 2007 or 2010 and I think that 365 is the best of all of the bunch. One change - I would like more options for the toolbar colour scheme but I guess you can't have everything!

Rated 3 out of5 by fromGreat price, great programsYou can't beat Microsoft Office, and this is great value for money - recommended for any university student! The only problem however, is that you can only install this on two devices. If like me you have a Mac which you boot in both OS X/Windows and you want office on both, that's your two gone already! And when I then factor in my tablet and laptop.. it means I can't have office on all of my devices.Would be great if either; tablets didn't count or they increased it to 3(+) devices, even if it was optional for an increased price! But other than the low number of devices which is worth noting, it's worth the purchase.

Rated 3 out of5 by fromHidden limitationsThe onedrive online storage is limited to 20,000 files, so you can't actually ever get close to using 1TB. There's also a maximum file size limitation of 2gb, and you can only sync 5000 files at once. These might be deal breakers for you if you have a lot / large files you want to store online.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromIt is worth paying forThis product gives you access to all the latest Microsoft Applications with ongoing upgrades. Comes with 1TB Cloud storage and 60 minutes of Skype minutes each month as an extra treat. What i really liked about it was the ability Install Office on another PC or Mac so If you’ve used your Office installs, you can deactivate one so you can install it on another computer. Or if you have a bought a new laptop you can deactivate office on your old laptop and reinstall on your new one. It is reasonably priced so up to now i am extremely satisfied with the product and i would recommend it to other students.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromtrue productivity suiteWhat a good deal, installed on my mac and windows as I need both for my doctorate research data processing needs, I can work on either systems and have my files readily available on the other through OneDrive, and to top it off, access to more cloud storage than will ever need, all other cloud services are now totally redundant to my need.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromGreat Deal and Awesome SoftwareBought this just before I graduated and I can say it's extremely worth it! 4 years is a pretty long time after all, if you think about it your life could be quite different in 4 years. New job, new partner, whatever.Office 2013 looks great visually (way better than Office 2007), and having 1Tb in the cloud is awesome - I'm already shifting most of my documents there. It launches quite fast, and updates seamlessly, there's no downtime, and I like how my documents autosaves and uploads to the cloud.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromDoes not work correctly with Outlook.com - MacAfter speaking with numerous Microsoft staff, I was told that the new Outlook 365 for Mac would sync correctly the calendar and contacts with Outlook.com. After installing the software I've since found out it can't. This is pathetic and I will also be looking to move away from Outlook.com
