Ratings and reviews

Rated 5 out of5 by fromFantasticThis is one of the best purchases to date for me for a computer. The surface pro is light, fast, recognizes all of my devices. It works flawlessly with my xbox one, and my windows phone lumina 1020. The programs that I use on a regular basis such as office, twitter, halo channel, acornpipe, and others all work on it. One note with the pen is awesome. I just wish that there was one more USB 3.0 slot. The value package was well thought out to include office, warranty, a sleeve, the keyboard. If you do purchase this make sure you buy a mouse that is Bluetooth so as not to use the USB slot.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromLove, Love, Love!!!!Being a retired Federal Gov't LAN Admin/IT Tech, level 2, I can tell you that I'm blown away! I'm tickled pink that I remained so patient until the Pro 4 came out, and I doubled the RAM! So much better then the iPad, which I have had 2 of, and a Kindle HDX, etc. I've done so much research on this as being an artist wanted a good drawing tablet, which this got rave reviews and the Pen is awesome-it stays on with a magnet and so does the charge plug in!!!!! And I'll be able to go on the go with writing my book. Ta dahhhhh! Microsoft has come thru with their monthly subscription too, awesome! I feel like a little kid in a tech toy store giggling everytime I come across something new on my magnificent Surface Pro 4!! Did I mention I love it?!

Rated 2 out of5 by fromMicrosoft Surface ProI was provided this computer at work. These are the concerns which i have.1. The surface pro overheats.2. The internet connectivity has no memory, every time i enter a new wifi zone i have to go through the re-connect procedure, which is time consuming. If computer is switched off, then the re-connection process has to restart over again.3. The startup procedure take 5 - 10 Minutes.4. when un docking the computer from desk, you have to manually change the font settings othererwise the font is way too small to read.5. when closing the screen, the unit continues to draw power and runs the battery down.

Rated 3 out of5 by fromGood... value maybe not.As a sys admin and purchaser the "value bundle" is just ok in terms of value. The sleeve is ok, but not something I would choose given the choice. As an enterprise user the copy of office 365 is useless. All said the discount on the keyboard cover and breakage protection balance it out. If they gave you the bundle price without forcing the office and sleeve on you it'd be a 10 out of 10 for value. Otherwise it's an alright deal if you want the breakage protection

Rated 1 out of5 by fromPrepare for disappointmentI purchased a surface 4 pro on launch day. The product has potential - nice size, great screen etc., but suffers from poor execution. Even when in hibernate mode, it still eats your battery - need to power it OFF to prevent the 6-8 hour death of your power. It does not start up reliably. 50% of the time it needs to be hard rebooted, often you go to use it the screen is backlit (black) but won't come on. It does not recognize tablet mode consistently. Bottom line, it its a lousy ipad coupled with a poor computer - to create a Frankenstein child that nobody wants to play with.

Rated 4 out of5 by fromExpensive, but worth it.Just bought it and it's working beautifully! It runs most games smoothly and gets work done easily. For Windows 7 users (like me), it takes a while to adapt to the Windows 8.1 environment. The keyboard is weird compared to the keyboard I currently use. The inability to upgrade the RAM is a slight disadvantage, though for most, it shouldn't be a problem.Expensive, but it is a good investment!

Rated 5 out of5 by fromHappy PurchaseI received my Surface Pro 3 a little over a week ago, and the ease of using it over my tablet is amazing. You would think you were at home working on your PC or lap top all the conveniences of home on the road.
