Ratings and reviews

Rated 4 out of5 by fromvery good for the price on saleIts a nice computer , fast performance , stunning screen , nice backlight keyboard , have all of the power for a light gaming or rendering (such as counterstrike , black ops 2(and lower) etc) , stunning loud speakers . But the cons i have for this laptop are that the touchpad isnt that efficient , its slim but no way near the hp envy that I used to own( sense it was a sleekbook) , battery life some times struggle , had some issues when booted up with my bios , over heating , and the hard drive usage was boosting to a 100% but i was able to fix them sense I general idea. overall its a solid laptop , amazing deal for the price and would total go for it

Rated 2 out of5 by fromDisappointedI bought this laptop 3 days ago and I will be returning it. The keyboard and feel of this laptop is extremely cheap. Even with an AMD-A10 processor it is slow, and lags quite often. The biggest failure of this laptop is the battery life, I put on the lowest settings and reduced program usage to a minimum and it still died extremely fast. The price makes it look like a great deal, but the quality you are getting is not worth it. If you plan on using this laptop to go on Facebook, Youtube and a few other sites then it is fine. However, if you plan to run multiple programs at the same time you can surely expect the performance to suffer.

Rated 4 out of5 by fromDell Inspiron 155555-2866SLVThe touchscreen is great, and the computer serves all my needs for schoolwork (university 3rd year) purposes. There are a few issues with the touchpad, though. All in all, a pretty solid computer. Excellent sale price!

Rated 1 out of5 by fromBought 2 of them, both had hardware issuesI bought 2 of these laptops back in March, upon receiving them both, one was slow, and the other had issue with windows 10.The first laptop, I had to get the hard drive replaced as it started giving me hard drive failure errors within a week of owning it. I have since gotten a new hard drive installed from Dell, now the computer is slow as Molasses, currently in touch with dell again...looks like a motherboard issue. Just waiting for Dell tech to give me green light to ship laptop back to them. Now the second laptop seemed laggy from the beginning, but problem wasn't getting any worse, so figured it was performance that was just slow. One morning, after shutting down, the laptop never came back on. After more Dell tech support (Did I mention I was tired of dealing with Dell tech support by now?!?) sent the laptop back as they had to replace the Hard Drive & Motherboard.

Rated 3 out of5 by fromTurtle! Can be slow when entering or loading data or pictures. Latest Windows 10 update slowed picture loading even more. Movies play ok but viewablity is hard at times depending on how screen is angled in relationship to light. Resolution could be crisper. If you like to be frustrated, use the touchpad but I would recommend a wireless mouse. The function keys at the top of the keyboard are very useful and can save a lot of time and are marked to give an idea of their function. Programs/apps crash on occasion (cannot tell whether this is the computer or the app so be cautious). As a general use machine, it is passable but would recommend a better processor-an Intel 3 or 5 or better.

Rated 2 out of5 by fromWorst keyboard ever - AVOID IF YOU NEED TO WRITEI guess the computer is okay, but the keyboard is lousy. Drops characters, no feedback, absolutely disgusting. I'm a writer, and the primary use for my computer is writing and editing. Now I have to double and triple check everything I do to make sure it's not full of errors caused by this keyboard. Drops m's, n's, commas and other bottom-row characters consistently causing delays and multiple problems.
