Ratings and reviews

Rated 4 out of5 by fromFair to Moderate, Getting BetterI am 1 month new and I am adjusting. This is an Ideal product that will keep you focused on the task required for a business. I really like how when I leave the PC and turn on the phone it remembers what I was doing on the PC. I cannot get Cortana to Pipe in and dont think will ever grasp that. The phone is glitchy and has a lot of lag, the basic 8 gig will not do as that is always 70% just to operate. Learning curve is big as it struggles connecting all the process, but the overall function when its ticking is great. For companies who offer phones to staff, there would absolutely be no better phone than this.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromPoor Network connection, Phone heats upI bought this phone to replace my broken Lumia 920, knowing its a low end phone. Was saving up for Surface phone! ;-)Pros:Windows 10!Camera was great (front and back).Cons:phone heats up after 15-20 mins of use.Mobile Data stability issue.Windows 10 stability issue (i.e. Groove music not stable enough)Phone, Contacts, email are all slow at opening (this is probably because Microsoft made these an app instead of Core feature)Now, I do want to mention I returned this phone within the month and got a replacement. But i finally gave up and returned the replacement the same day when LTE connection kept dropping.I'll just wait for Surface Phone!

Rated 5 out of5 by fromCan't beat this phone for the priceI bought this phone a few weeks back and registered it with my service provider. Using the W10 OS is a quantum leap forward from other WP devices. The display is crisp, the phone is fast enough (as long as you don't have too many apps running), and the battery is really strong with a lot of customization features to help prolong its power.

Rated 2 out of5 by fromOkay Basic Phone - Lumia 650 May Offer MoreThe Lumia 550 is an okay basic phone with good voice quality for calls and reliable texting and email. It has a weak CPU so some apps and games may be slow to open or may run poorly or freeze up.The Lumia 550 faces competition from its big brother, the Luma 650. The elegant styling of the 650 makes it look far more expensive than its price and it has a better screen and camera than the 550.If you hold the Lumia 550 and then hold the Lumia 650, odds are you will want the 650.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromGreat Value. Also Works On WindI wasn't sure what to expect when I bought this phone since I didn't get to see one in person before making the purchase. After using the Lumia 550 for over 4 weeks, I have to say that I'm very impressed with this phone considering how cheap it is. The screen is very bright an crisp, and the signal strength and sound quality is also very good. I would definitely recommend this phone to anyone looking for a great budget phone. I also love being able to download maps so I can use the phone as a GPS in the car without the need for cellular data when out of the country. For anyone who is concerned, the Lumia 550 works on Wind. Also, about a week after making my purchase from the Microsoft Store website, the phone went on sale. When I called customer support they gave me a price match without hesitation. It was great to see this level of customer service and made for a pleasant buying experience.

Rated 3 out of5 by fromGreat OS on an OK phone.I really like Windows 10 on this phone. It is a little slow so you can end up with some loading screens and it has crashed on me a few times. I have had it for a bit and would have recommended it but now I see there is the 650 for only $10 more. I would like to return this one and get the 650 but it has been more than 30 days. If it works the same but is faster than I would recommend the 650.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromGreat Phone for the Money!I did not actually end up keeping this phone because I wanted something higher end, however I thought that this phone was a great bang for the buck. It isn't fancy, however the camera is decent and Windows 10 runs smooth on the hardware.
