Ratings and reviews

Rated 5 out of5 by fromAwesome device, amazing priceThis is a fantastic little tablet. The screen isn't going to win any awards, but it's way, way nicer than I expected -- there is a 1900x1200 display on 8", giving you super sharp output with very good viewing angles, and a very responsive and accurate touch screen. Don't let the Atom CPU fool you -- the quad core processor is nearly as fast as the entry level Core M processors, and the eMMC isn't a SSD, but it's still highly responsive. The construction is also excellent, with a nice metal frame that gives it a premium look and feel. It comes with an OTG cable for the mini-USB port, which I appreciate, and of course, the microSD and mini HDMI ports are very useful.I really can't imagine why anyone would want an iPad mini, at the prices that these are!

Rated 5 out of5 by fromGreat Tablet - Excellent ValueI was in the market for a portable media solution to play view YouTube videos, movies and modify Word Documents. I found 8" was the right size for me. The NuVision Windows 10 Signature Edition - 8" tablet exceeded my expectations, it is excellent. I went to the Microsoft store to try the display model and I was extremely pleased on the speed, screen sharpness, the blacks are very dark and the viewing angles are excellent. I now have all of the advantages of a Windows 10 desktop, PLUS I can conveniently carry it with me. Great Job Microsoft !!

Rated 5 out of5 by fromFantastic, amazing device for the priceI ordered this 8" NuVision tablet because it had two gigs of RAM, and a nice big screen. I am very pleased with the screen size, colours, and brightness. I am very impressed at how fast this thing starts, and the build quality is superb for such a low cost device. This NuVision tablet was 10% of the price of my Surface Pro 4, but provides at least 70% of the power and convenience, especially when paired with a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. It's very thin, and fits in cargo short pockets. To be honest, this device so good that I'm seriously considering selling my Surface Pro 4. I've owned MacBook Pro and iPad devices too, and this one beats them all. Thank-you, Microsoft Store, for making amazing products available to all consumers: the devices in electronics stores tend to be junky and clunky.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromVery Happy, Actually Blown Away and heres whyI purchased this tablet, skeptically, like I do most low cost technologies. Being a laptop owner (apple MBPR ) and doing all my work in IT, Hosting & Web I wanted a mini computer that I could carry with my notepad to meetings, . I wanted a mini computer that could Handle things like sublime, filezilla, RDP, hipchat etc and surfing the net, and all i have to say is wow. This thing is amazing for the cost, performance, display and speed. it feels like a retina device with its high resolution screen. (just a tip, increase your font size to 150% in appearance options or else the everything is a little to small) It performs amazing, and is a lot more functional then an ipad. I can code, FTP, RDP, surf, emails and more.I'd recommend this to anyone, another tip use a stylist :)

Rated 1 out of5 by fromWow... How is this thing getting good reviews??I just picked this tablet up yesterday at the Microsoft Store based on it's good reviews... Not sure how it's getting those reviews though. In the short time I've had it I've noticed that,1. Some of the preinstalled software doesn't work with the OS... Like maps!2. Speakers suck! Too quiet to use in all but the quietest rooms.3. Battery drops quickly, no way will it last as long as it says it does.4. Lots of the store apps don't even work with Windows 10.So, to sum it up, I definitely don't recommend this tablet. Even the cheapest of Android tablets would probably be more useful than this thing.I'd love to return it, but it's over an hour to get back to the store and I don't have the time. Wow, what a waste of money.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromConsidering the price performance factor =5starsI've 3 win tablets. in general windows uses a lot of power, prepare to bring extra power pack for travelling. The cpu, 2gb ram are minimal config that make windows run acceptable smooth. The touch screen response is always my first priority, and this works well above average, the 2 speakers are better than ok. overall, this is a good deal - compare the cpu hardware with a 300-400 10inch tablets, you will love this little one. I am keeping it and as compliment to my chromebook.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromNice little tablet for the price but...I am about to return it when they are going to fix the website (the store doesn't let me return it atm). A nice little tablet for the price but with serious quality issues. The screen which is one of the main pros for this in my case has serious issues. In the middle looks like the different parts are not glued together and the backlight is not uniform on the entire screen. It might be only mine but for me is enough. I send it back and I don't plan to try it again. I am sorry.
