Overview

Do more with your phone

Do more with your phone

This little device lets you use your phone just like a PC, with a full-sized keyboard, monitor or mouse. Just plug the ScreenBeam into the HDMI port of your TV or monitor, then attach a keyboard and mouse to the USB port. Plug in the power, and you're good to go. Your Windows 10 device will detect your monitor, keyboard, and mouse, and automatically scale Windows applications so they'll look great on the big screen. All you need to do is start working.

Ratings and reviews

Rated 5 out of5 by fromWorks just fine.I picked this up yesterday, even though I read the other review that said it did not work, the device did work out of the box. I also updated the firmware for a better experience using my 950XL and their app.Side notes:- I also bought a 650 for a friend and tested it as well. The screen mirroring works great.- I have also tested a wired KB and mouse, although switching between the two seemed to reboot the device.- I am writing this review using my 950XL with the device and I have *both* a wired KB and mouse connect at the same time using a 4 port USB2 hub. (a cheap one that came with Rock Band for my PS2).- Using the power from my TV I was able to use only a KB or mouse. When I connected the dock it needed more juice to function and plugging into a higher powered USB port fixed that issue. I do suspect that a powered USB hub would have worked as well.- Although this device does cost more (when I wrote this) I do feel that by adding the wired KB and mouse feature, it is justified.

Rated 2 out of5 by fromNice toy but buyer bewareConnects to the TV nicely but will not connect to any Windows 10 device - not compatible! Going to the website with the Windows 10 device tells you everything - recognizes the device as running a non supported OS and lists supported versions - Windows 7, 8, 8.1. Too bad that both MS website and the box advertise it as accessory for Windows 10 devices.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromDoes not do what it says it does.I tried this device with my Windows 10 phone and my Windows 10 phone and they both display for a while but then the "casting" just stops after a few minutes. Neither device allows a mouse or keyboard connection.
