Ratings and Reviews

Rated 1 out of5 by fromUnstable - do not use on devices you rely onUntil Microsoft can manage to fix the critical error with their start menu failing to initialise on machines, do not rely on this OS for essential devices. Developed a critical error with the start menu & was repeatedly automatically logged out so W10 could attempt to fix - it never could. Got to the point where this was happening several times in a day. I searched online for solutions & this seems to be a big problem, with a highly varied outcome. Microsoft even has a webpage covering this issue - tried all their recommendations, but nothing worked. So I chose to reinstall W7, but could only do this after Dell sent me an OEM image, as W10 had wiped my W7 files. Will not be rolling this out across my office.

Rated 2 out of5 by fromProper installation media pleaseI bought the full version of pro for download for my laptop ( as I want clean install and its own media if I need to rebuild ), used the media creator to create USB ( from link provided ), selected the "windows 10" as edition ( there is no mention of home or pro), installed machine from this media and it's windows 10 home so now I have to "upgrade" via changing the product key for another 2 hours? Why can't you just have a sinplw windows 10 professional USB image seriously? It's supposed to be the professional version. ( Or at least give me the option to enter the key in the installer )

Rated 1 out of5 by fromEmpty BoxI bought Windows 10 download and Windows 10 USB, the download is great but the box containing the USB Windows only contained the delivery document. I have had to buy another two copies, a download copy for another laptop and a USB copy for my newest ASUS which has 8.1 but an enterprise version so I can't upgrade for free, anyway I got the pro version because I want remote control.John Simpson

Rated 1 out of5 by fromI like win 10 BUTThe BUT is getting through the website pages, I have a new barebones machine so I needed to buy win 10 pro, and at this point the difficulties start.1. the website is so geared to free upgrades that buying for the new machine is difficult, I finally get a a product key.....2. I have got a download on a USB stick, start to load it on the new empty machine, it does not accept the product key, it tells me that the key does not correspond to any of the images.3. re-open my account, to get another download, it puts me into the Italian download screen, I flounder, but work it out, it then puts me into A Slovak selection screen which I manage to change back to English.Maybe this download will work with my product key. I have little confidence.Having just paid out the best part of 200 pounds, I expect just a bit more than to be told that there is no image suitable, I know MS needs to protect their revenue, but making life so difficult for PAYING customers is not good business.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromAmazing performanceI've used only pro microsoft OS's in my past dell and hp pcs. Its the best pro OS since windows 7. I would recommend this OS over windows 10 home. its faster and has no speed drops.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromA great OSI have had no problems with this OS what so ever. It is fast and reliable and to me one of the best OS's out there. There can be some issues at times but nothing too bad or something that isn't easily rectified. I recommend that anyone who can avail of the free upgrade to take it and if you are thinking about buying it, I say go for it, you won't look back.
