Rated 2 out of5 bybankian fromDissapointingI agree. Build quality is good but you could not describe it as ultra thin - it seems needlessly thick and more than doubles the depth of the surface. But the worst aspect is the keyboard interaction: as previously described you can't clip the keyboard up magnetically - a key feature of the SP3. Worse still when you fold the keyboard over it has to stretch over the (too thick) bottom of the frame so it won't fold flat against the cover and I'm worried that it's actually going to damage the keyboard by stretching the joint.I'm seriously considering cutting off the bottom portion of the cover so there's no obstruction for the keyboard. It'll look ugly but may work better.

The instructions included with the case seem to be for a different design which is in two parts which slide on from top and bottom. The case supplied clips on the back and then a separate frame on to the front. The result is that the keyboard cover can only be used lying flat and not folded into a slight angle. The overall design is clumsy although well enough produced. I tried it on my Surface and immediately took it off. Shame because it totally detracts from a great design.

Rated 4 out of5 byPetelegeek fromGood ProtectionPurchased to protect my Surface Pro when on the road. It is thicker than expected and not lightweight. The instructions for inserting your tablet are not very clear and confusing. Basically it pulls apart into two pieces. Took a while to work out.
