Overview

More to explore

Discover more of Tamriel than you've ever seen, from the frozen peaks of Skyrim to the murky depths of Black Marsh. It's a vast and growing world full of dungeons to investigate, beautiful vistas to admire, hidden Skyshards to collect, and much more.

A world in peril

A world in peril

As war spreads to every province in Tamriel, unlikely allies stand together on the battlefield. But a more sinister threat is growing—the Daedric Prince Molag Bal, God of Schemes, is hatching a plan to pull all of Tamriel into his Oblivion realm and enslave every mortal soul.

A fragile alliance

A fragile alliance

Forced to seek allies in the face of war and Daedric invasion, the people of Tamriel have united under three banners. But the bonds between them are tenuous at best, as these ancient enemies must put differences aside for the greater good. Who will you stand with?

Your hero, your rules

Your hero, your rules

Whatever your class—Dragonknight, Templar, Nightblade, or Sorcerer—you're free to pick up any weapon or armor and choose from an enormous selection of spells and abilities to customize your fighting style. Be the hero you've always envisioned.

Go do some crimes

Go do some crimes

If a life of crime is your thing, Tamriel is the perfect place for it. The citizens all have their own possessions and treasures, and they can be yours. Steal, murder, and get away with it—if you’re stealthy enough. But just be prepared to face the consequences if you're caught.

Rated 3 out of5 by fromGood game but judge it on it's ownThis is not a bad game but get it on sale. Also do not fall into the trap of comparing it to skyrim it can't compare to that. As it is it is a fun game and you will enjoy it. It is not going to be the epic hit skyrim was so detach you expectations and enjoy it for what it is.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromMany Better GamesI would rather play neverwinter a F2P MMORPG over this lousy excuse of a game the only reason that you should even consider picking it up is because you are a Massive Elder Scrolls fan like me that will play any scrap of content that they produce no matter how over priced; it's not worth the money

Rated 3 out of5 by fromWill I ever beat this game?To answer that question: no, probably not. Elder Scrolls Online is a very social in regards to the online aspect of the game, but the game play itself is mediocre at best. I found the intertwining of the story and the online world frustrating due to the fact that you must do more than a hundred online missions just to simply get through the story even though the story is single player itself and completely separate from the online world. I will not deny the graphics are decent, but the game drags out missions with repetitive themes and lame replicas of characters so well implemented in Skyrim. If you are looking for Skyrim, go buy Skyrim, because it will only pain you to see how its been cut and pasted to include all of Tamriel.

Rated 2 out of5 by fromWon't playOnly reason I got this was to transfer my pc character. Come to find out they only let you do that in a small window before the game was released.

Rated 4 out of5 by fromFun with FriendsIt is a fun game but a lot better with a group of friends to run around with. Many will expect Skyrim style gameplay but it is definitely a MMO.
