Ratings and reviews

Rated 4 out of5 by fromGraphics are the focal point!I did not like the game-play of this game. However, driving the bat mobile as well as going from roof top to rooftop was fun with the bat-hook!

Rated 5 out of5 by fromSimply a great gameThis is the first game I spent significant money on for the Xbox One and I was not disappointed. The map is large, but not overwhelming. The controls feel natural. The side missions off of the main story are great too. All in all, a great game whether you are a fan of Batman or not.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromGreat Diversity and PlayabilityI've only owned this game for over a week and a half, but I've become obsessed with it. I'll play for 6+ hours every time I login. The Batmobile created an entirely new way to explore the islands, rather than always having to grapple across rooftops (although launching from the Batmobile is pretty sweet). The enemy tanks you have to fight against were pretty tough at first, until you get the hang of navigating the Batmobile.Other than that, all of the moves were exactly the same as the previous games, which I loved. There are new gadgets on your belt now. I didn't have to rely on the batarangs as much in this installment, but the exploding gel and remote control hacking device were absolutely imperative. But my new favorite gadget? The disruptor. Having the capability to disable firearms, drones, and other devices was completely genius.I haven't played the previous installments in this trilogy in awhile, so I could be wrong, but having the ability to select which mission you want to focus on was probably my favorite feature of the game. Sometimes you get bored destroying drones over and over again - just click your Mission Select button and change your focus to a separate mission. My favorite missions were probably the Riddler - saving Catwoman from the Orphanage. I always liked playing Catwoman, maybe it's because I'm a woman. Another of my favorite missions is called "The Perfect Crime," about a serial killer who leaves mutilated bodies for you to find and investigate. There's also a masked vigilante who wants to succeed Batman; you have to find him on rooftops throughout the islands. Once you find him, Batman begins a simulation, whereupon you take control of the individual and prove that you are indeed a worthy successor. My copy of the game included a digital download that allows you to play as Harley Quinn - for about ten minutes. Kinda disappointing, but I intend on purchasing the season pass so I can continue playing this game for as long as possible. It's definitely my favorite in the series. Hope this review helps.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromExceeded my expectationsI thought the batmobile was just a gimmick before actually playing the game, but I was pleasantly surprised to be wrong. The combat is fast and fun. Great game so far.
