Ratings and reviews

Rated 1 out of5 by fromGlitchySo far, have had to send it back to ASUS because Windows was never activated and NO ONE had the activation code, not ASUS, not Microsoft, not anyone. I have also had the following weird issues:-touchscreen sometimes doesn't want to work on the top third-system volume does not stay set. suddenly jumps back to max volume for...reasons? I guess it just feels like it-doesn't stay asleep when closed. for...reasons? It only likes to take cat naps.-refuses, under any circumstances, to recognize USB devices. sometimes. just for funsiesOverall, this is easily the glitchiest machine I've ever bought. It's fast, quiet, powerful and breaks in ways that make no Earthly sense.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromThis is one of the worse lap tops I have ever usedI bought this lap top a year ago. I have taken it back to Best Buy several times. Asked for a refund and was told the company will not allow us to make an exchange. The space bar sticks. One needs to really hit the key board hard in order to lessen the "sticking" issue. I had saved several important items on doc. files only to come back and tried accessing the files to my pain, as well as astonishment, the operating system failed and the files were lost. The operating system shuts down everytime I close the cover of the computer. I then need to reboot and restart the computer which takes several minutes. There are several other glitches. Buyer Beware!

Rated 3 out of5 by fromGreat laptop, but few problemsI had this laptop for a year and the whole motherboard was bad so it broke down. The battery is lasting for 1 hour now, unplugged. Many problems, since i had to get it fixed ,twice. Software and hardware, very glitchy or lags in between. Most of the time, the laptop would awake for no apparent reason from sleep mode. 10 point touch was glitchy also, sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't with everything updated, The drivers, etc. Low sound Quality, but nice bass to the music. There are also great things about the laptop. Gaming was fine, giving me 75 fps and a low of 35-41 on high settings. Sometimes it would drop to the 20s.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromTouchpad does not work.Laptop was delivered a week ago. Straight out of the box the Touchpad did not work. I found a error in device manager and after some searching it appeared to be a driver issue. Downloaded new drivers but the issue persisted. Got in touch with windows Tech Support and they were at it for a few hours and several reboots later the issue was still unresolved. Next day tried to get thru to windows Tech Support again but not much success, was put on hold and then the call dropped. I'm planning to return the laptop.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromWorst computer I ever hadI have had nothing but trouble with my ASUS notebook. Started from day one and even worse after adding windows 10. Support is the worst!!! And when you need to update Bio's etc you can only do it from the ASUS site and they try to charge you for it. NEVER NEVER EVER will I get another ASUS btw I only had this thing 1 year! Oh and another thing Staples where I purchased it from has no clue how to repair these.
