Rated 1 out of5 by fromAccess 2016 is TerribleLoaded Office 2016. Cannot get Access to work. It worked three different times then quit working three different times then made me uninstall Office 2016 three times. Now it just will not open. It uninstalled Office 2013 and quite frankly Access 2013 was giving me similar problems. It left Access 2010 still on the system though I had to reinstall it to get it to work. Seems to work fine. Access 2016 though just keeps giving me "Automatic configuration of the current version of Access has failed. Your database might not function properly. This can occur if you do not have the necessary permissions to install access on this computer." Which I do as it is part of the whole package.. Junk.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromAFTER you pay, it tells you you can't use it.I have Office 2013 w/o Access. So after paying and downloading Access 2016, I got a screen when I tried to install that says: Stop, you should wait to install Office 2016. Then it says it will have to remove Office 2013. And it says - verbatim - : "This app doesn't work with Office 2016 right now. We're working on a solution."I would expect an alternate interim solution, like offering Access 2013 but they don't.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromRuntime issueSo I have installed Office 2013 with Access 2013 on my computer. Recently I changed from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Runtime 2013 doesn't run on Windows 10 only Runtime 2016 runs on Windows 10. If I want to use Runtime on a Windows 10 computer I need to install Runtime 2016, I need to install Access 2016 as well and finally Office 2016. Although the upgrade to Windows 10 is free I am paying double the price because I cannot use my Runtime 2013 on a Windows 10 computer. Seems like we are being mislead here.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromDon't botherIf you have any version of Microsoft Office prior to 2016 this will be useless unless you delete your older versions. You may as well buy/subscribe to Microsoft Office Personal which is cheaper (for a year) than this is and it includes Access, along with all of the other programs that I already have. I wouldn't know if this actually works though since it isn't compatible with my 2013 Office.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromNo real improvements over 2010, UI is depressingI hate to leave a bad review because I am a die hard Access fan, but I have been using this version for quite some time now and have experienced nothing but headaches and bugs. It doesn't like to coexist with my back end file that is stored on another computer running Access 2013, but it is very difficult switching versions of Office on all of the computers at my company. Furthermore I think I am having difficulties with some of my computers running 32 bit operating systems and some running 64 bit. My reference libraries keep on dropping out so I can't run my custom ribbon UI as well as other standard functions (namely the Microsoft Office 16.0 Object Library). I keep getting an error that says my database is in an unrecognizable format and it has to repair itself, sometimes deleting my forms. The query design window is nearly impossible to resize tables in because the borders are so small you have about 1 pixel for the resize arrow to appear. The list goes on and on.I used Access 2010 for over 4 years and never had any issues with it. It also had a much nicer User Interface. One computer at my office is still running 2010 and every time I go on it I miss it really bad. As soon as I "upgraded" I started having all of these issues. I don't see any real improvements to speak of.I would not recommend this to anyone. Get Access 2010 if you can figure out where to find it.
