Need to learn the basics of PowerPoint? Or how to sync multiple devices using Windows 10? No problem. Assure includes as many in-store personal training sessions as you want.

Assure Software Support Plan assistance is provided remotely over the Internet by Microsoft-trained Answer Techs. They're available online to provide your service 24/7 throughout the US, whenever it works best for you.

You'll need to allow the Answer Tech to connect remotely to your computer. We highly recommend that you back up your computer before getting your service.

Rated 3 out of5 by fromReassuring, but not handyI bought the Assure subscription so I could get some help with an upgrade from Windows 7 to 10 that was presenting problems. I did, after 6 sessions with technical support and a dozen hours total on the phone, get my problem resolved. The help I got would have been sufficient for most routine problems, but was not for mine. Most aggravating was the need to go through the general call que after paying for special service. So yes, I'm glad I got the product. It would have been horrendous paying by the hour. But I should not have had so much trouble getting to the support level I needed and I should not have had to wait in line as long as the people who had not subscribed.

It was recommended that I purchase Assure so I can get help when I need it.Well I do get a quick response, but the technicians are never able to fix the problem. They seem to have very limited knowledge. So far they have never fixed a problem. I take that back. Once they fixed the problem after we were on the chat for over an hour. I came up with the solution to put internet explorer back on my computer and I was able to do what I needed. I don't think she ever would have fixed the problem.Windows 10 has been a real pain, and the Assure membership has not helped.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromBest experienceWe received a phishing message when my son was on the computer. I thought I had bought the best antivirus protection, but it was not enough. My computer was locked and I didn't know what to do. I called Microsoft and my customer service representative Juan Carlos was patient and did everything to clean up the computer and get it working properly. It is wonderful that if I have any issues, I can call and get the representative to take over the computer and fix the issues. I was even more impressed because a few times Juan had to call us back. He always called back on time and followed through. Definitely will keep this product moving forward. Such peach of mind!

In the last couple of days, I noticed a strange email so I called Assure to have them check my PC for a virus. I also noticed that after getting Microsoft 10 our icon for Microsoft Essentials had disappeared. When I called I was pleasantly surpised when I was almost immediately connected with a technician. No long wait on the phone as it had been in the past. The tech was so knowledgable, patient, easy to understand and caring. He set me up with the replacement for Microsoft Essentials. He also scanned my computer for any viruses and deleted a lot of things that could be contributing to a slow running PC.

Waited @ 6pm no call 3hrs still no call. so I call them. the lies start then " sir we sent you an e-mail telling you we rescheduled for next week".(what if this was my only computer) But it's not and i'm in my e-mail all day.. So I ask what is my e-mail address he starts guessing. Then the next morning I get call from microsoft telling me they attempted to call me but got no answer. I said that not true My phone system records every call and you never called I called you and asked for a supervisor and they refused to put one on the line.

In one month I have called in for help about10 times. It's cool to just watch these guys work, they are artist who know their craft they get in do the work and are gone.You will go over restart it and it's like a well oiled machine.The best part is that its just about ALL covered in your plan. The ten times I have used it ,I paid zero amount. I said,just about All covered , because I haven't read all the contact plan yet. You will not go wrong with this, I love it. Thanks Microsoft this one you did right, David F.

Rated 2 out of5 by fromSlow, unreliable responseThe initial help you get is with a not very experienced person who runs through a series of standard checks. This is not bad if your problem is simple. It’s probably useful. However, if your problem is more complicated, they send you to a “level 2” technician. Some of these techs are good, but not all of them. However, it is extremely hard to get through to them and they are unreliable. I had to wait 3 days for an appointment. I made the appointment. I was ready at the appointed time. Two hours later they called and said they couldn’t do it that day. They made another appointment for the next day. They never called. They didn’t call late. They didn’t call to change the appointment time. Nothing. If your time doesn’t matter to you, then maybe this service is OK.

I decided to do chat and because my computer had a little more problems that I could handle, he recommended the Assure Plan. I'm certainly glad that he did. I have used the plan 3 times since then and they have been able to solve my computer problems in a minimum amount of time and the professionalism and courtesy they extended cannot be beat. for a years worth of service, it's a great deal. To be able to service your software problems without disconnecting your machine and taking it to a big box store, an even better deal. Great Plan!
