Rated 5 out of5 by fromA Laptop you can trustI bought this laptop during the black Friday and I can assure you that although this PC is not the best option available for playing games like GTA or Assassin's Creed, it is pretty good for doing regular stuff that doesn't need a dedicated graphic cards.This is a very quiet PC, it almost never get too warm and I got to say that the precision touchpad and the Windows Hello are amazing features.Tl;Dr - You won`t regret buying this PC, but if you pretend to play GTA on high, you should definitely look some gaming PC`s with dedicated graphic cards.

It covered all corners.6th Gen i7 (Less Power Consumption than 5th Gen) + 8gb DDR4 RAM (Less Power Consumption then DDR3) + 1080p (FULL-HD) 10 points Touch Screen + Back Light Keyboard (It has separate number pad) Intel RealSense Camera (It can be used for Windows Hello - face recognition login and If your hands are wet or dirty then you can interact with PC without touching it) + Memory Card Slot + 1 USB 3 Port + 2 USB 2 Ports + DVD/RW Drive + Ethernet Port + HDMI Port + Regular Headphone Jack + Good Touch Pad + 1TB Hard Drive (Lots of space for storage)This laptop has everything I wanted and the only 1 think I do not like is when I press keyboard it flexes down a little and if this is not an issues then I would have given 5 Stars but I can ignore that with the price I paid for the laptop.Overall Good Laptop!

I love having no trial offers slowing down my computer. From the time I hit the power button until I am on the internet is under 30 seconds. The touch screen is a nice edition and I use it more than I thought I would. I wish I had bought another for my wife at this price.

As I was setting it up I realized once again how slow a 5700 RPM Hard Drive really is. It was my plan all along to replace it with an SSD I already owned and, even though they made the task fairly easy I was worried that I was going to mess thing up. The most worrisome thing in the process was the very fragile looking cable connecting the hard drive to the system board. I own another DELL computer so I know they do know how to make a computer more user friendly.I never will understand why they would put such a slow hard drive in an i7 laptop. I am certain it was to keep the cost down and I am thankful for that. It is a very nice machine for what I paid.

It's identical to the i5559-4682SLV also sold here but with an intel i7 processor. The specs listed here have two major mistakes that should be noted.First, it's DDR3L memory. NOT DDR4. It ships with two 4gb single ranked DDR3L 1600 SODIMMs. The memory is easily accessible thru a panel on the bottom.Next, the battery is a 4 cell, not 3 cell. And is expected to provide 7 to 8 hours of life per Dell. It is also easily accessible as it's external.For those looking for cons here's a few, but I don't consider any of them deal breakers for the price.The full size keyboard is backlight and includes the numeric keypad. How ever it feels a little flimsy at first but works VERY well.The case is mostly plastic. But EVERYTHING is easily accessible including memory, drives, battery and wireless card. There is no need to take the case apart to access any of these.The screen does not appear to be LED backlight. I'm not certain it's IPS either as it's not mentioned by Dell or in the parts description. It does suffer from what I call "hot spots" around the edges. It's most noticeable on dark images.Otherwise it has been a dream to use. Very fast and responsive. The only recommendation I would make to anyone consider this laptop is to replace the disk drive with an SSD and never look back on your purchase.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromSimilar laptp i5 version. Unable to charge batteryOne fine day Dell laptop stopped charging the battery and complained that i am not using the correct charger. I borrowed a charger from people with similar laptop. It still failed to charge. I was asked to update the Bios. But the BIOS update was not possible, since DELL doesn't allow BIOS update without having atleast 10% charge on the battery. This is not the issue with this particular laptop, but seems to be an issue with all dell laptops. Search on the web for DELL laptop battery not charging issue; You will find comments as far back as 7/8 year. Dell failed to address an issue that had been there for a very long period. I never had a laptop that stopped working. All my laptops are discarded usually because they are too old. Apart from charging issues, it also has issues with WIFI losing connenction on a regular basis (which developed after a few months of the purchase). My laptop just crossed the warranty period. So I can't send it back either. I am stuck with a laptop that doesn't charge, just because DELL stopped producing quality products. DELL lost a customer for life.
