Ratings and reviews

Rated 5 out of5 by fromI LOVE ITI bought the FitBit a month ago and I love it. It helps me keep up with how many steps I take and has made me get up and move more often. I tried the pedometer in my cell, but it drains too much battery. The FitBit also tells me how much sleep I actually get each night. I realized I am not getting enough sleep thanks to the FitBit Charge. I am able to track calories and set the FitBit to keep up with my heart rate, which I was able to modify towards my exact needs. I thought it was expensive at first, but I am working on getting fit and it has really helped me achieve work out goals! The cost is worth it! Like I said...LOVE IT!

Rated 1 out of5 by fromDoesn't track HR accurately :(I'm so disappointed. I've been wearing a Polar HRM for years. I know my heart rates during various activities. The Fitbit Charge HR doesn't even come close to accurately tracking my HR. I place the strap on my wrist as in instructed - 2 fingers away from my wrist bone. The S/M strap is too small. I'm a woman and assumed the L would be too big since there are only two choices. It's hard to change the strap length when there are only 2 notches left. I'm 5'7", 130 lbs. It's not like I have a huge wrist. Nice idea, but it just doesn't do the main purpose of this model - track HR accurately. Hope I can return it and get my money back.

Rated 4 out of5 by fromEnjoyed and have seen great results so far.I have had the Charge HR for 10 days now and have already seen a difference in my own progress. Since tracking, I have been averaging 12k steps a day, have adjusted my sleep to see better results. I've also used the food and water tracking features which has had an immediate affect on my lifestyle. It would be nice to have the call feature for my Nokia 1520, suggested from the previous review. That is #4 on the top items on the FitBit community and I bet it's soon to come. That is why I give it 4 stars.I wanted the Band and still think that would be awesome to have. Honestly though, I don't think I want all the features of email, text and calls at my wrist. I'm tied enough to my phone an email, I don't necessarily want even easier access to them.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromBest Overall Fitness Tracker! The Fitbit Charger HR excels as a pedometer & alarm+sleep tracker. The battery life is excellent at close to 5 days of normal use. The universal Windows app is syncs well with the device although I do wish the caller ID feature worked (hopefully support will be added in the future). I definitely recommend the Fitbit Charge HR over its other siblings (the Charge and Surge). For $20 more the HR tracking feature is definitely worth it while the additional $100 for the GPS and chunkier design of the Surge is in my opinion not worth the added cost.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromvery disappointing. My husband and I both bought this at about the same time. We were greatly disappointed. ON his the wrist band fell to pieces and made it unusable, mine the clip around the charging area fell off and eventually lost the button on it. it was unusable. They were only a few months old. never again.

Rated 2 out of5 by fromNot a Happy Fitbitter!Loved my Fitbit Charge HR, got it in December. Com March it went off. Could not get it to sync, keep a charge, reset or nay thing. That is when we fell out of love. Yeah, I was sent another one, probably refer-bushed or something.Had some of the same issues with another one of your products. Not too happy with it now.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromDoes Not Last 1 YearI've gone through 3 Charge HR devices that have yet to last a year. It was a gift given to me May 2015. In November of 2015 the plastic casing that surrounds where you connect to charge the device fell apart. Fitbit did a great job at replacing it immediately even allowed me to change the color. Unfortunately a month into having the tangerine-colored Charge HR it started to stain and I did everything possible to properly fix this issue however after reading many blogs and reviews, it appeared as if this was a chronic issue for light-colored devices. The elastomer material unfortunately doesn't clean well and stain was not going away. Fitbit did a nice job at once again replacing it. I received a new one January 2016, however in retrospect I believe they were sending me refurbished devices. This month (August 2016) my device once again fell apart in the exact same location as the first one, the plastic holder where the charging device goes in. Additionally, the elastomer material starting to pull away from the screen of the device. A bubble developed in the wrist band as well. I contact Fitbit providing several pictures. Unfortunately they notified me "...the warranty from the paired date of your original tracker which was last 2015-05-16. That's make you ineligible for replacement and as much as we would love to replace your tracker however we don't have that option anymore." Now mind you, the 'new' device they sent me in January 2016 had not lasted a year but they base the warranty the month it was originally purchased. I did some research online and found several people with the exact same issue on this particular Fitbit. I would not recommend this particular device if you are an active athlete who likes to wear it all the time (minus when showering or in a pool). I wore it to sleep to track my sleep pattern. I used it as it said I could. Unfortunately the durability is abysmal. They have more work to on the elastomer material.
