Ratings and reviews

Rated 5 out of5 by fromBest laptop of all of them I've had!Owned for one year; I cannot say enough positive about this. I have used personally owned and company provided laptops since laptops came out. This is the best one I have had...period. It is light, well made, good looking, fast, easy to use and reliable. HP keeps things up to date without being intrusive. The battery life is still amazing to me. After one year I can still use it on battery all day long to run a monitor, while screen is off and top closed. This one is an i7 with 16GB ram. I bought extended and 'stupid proof' insurance because I like this so much. If I went to get another one today I would go get one of these.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromGreat Laptop!!I bought at the Microsoft store in downtown Portland a month ago. This is clearly the best lap top I ever had. It is infinitely better then the Lenovo Thinkpad which I was using. Very responsive touchscreen. Great keyboard with backlighting. Long battery life. Lighting fast thanks in at least in part to the i7 chip. Beautiful design and the aluminum casing is way stronger than the plastic on the Lenovo. Quickly shifts to tablet mode. The one and two finger click feature on the touchpad is a joy to use. I have had no issues and have been using it constantly. HP has clearly done a beautiful job in design and execution. I love it!

Rated 5 out of5 by fromVery happy with this laptopI have had my Spectre360 for a month now, I bought it as a replacement for my Surface Pro 3 and am really happy with it. When I unplug it and take it with me when I leave the office the battery lasts the rest of the day. The case never gets hot which was a problem with my Surface. This is my 3rd laptop/Surface purchased in the past 3 years and by far the best one.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromMine didn't workI chose the hp spectre 360 with 512gb. I started it up and it froze during start up, had to reboot. I tried again and it froze and made weird sounds on mouse movement within minutes when trying to play the Cortona video. Hard reboot #2. Try #3, downloaded adobe app and it froze during download, #3 hard reboot. #4 - tried to redownload but froze when I flipped the screen to convert to tablet, #4th hard reboot. That's 4 tries and 4 fails, 100% fail in my opinion, if you buy I hope you don't get a lemon like I have, I'm returning it for full refund.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromNice Laptop with a great displayThis is a great notebook. It is as fast as any laptop I have ever owned. The display is excellent, keyboard and trackpad feel nice. The build quality is excellent. No funky fan noise or rattles of any kind with a good solid feel. Battery life is good at around 8+ hours. The sound volume is below average, not much better than my phone. It is too heavy and uncomfortable when flipped over to use as a tablet. So the bottom line is this makes an excellent notebook but only a fair tablet.

Rated 3 out of5 by fromIt is born with window 10With windows 10, the touch screen and three mode of using behaves satisfying. And I like the screen and keyboard too. However some are amazing, some are terrified. Cons, trackpad! Trackpad is the worst. I don't know why the trackpad so large. The design is unreasonable. It behaves OK with windows 10, but when you change the OS to window 7, it totally messes up because your hands definitely touch it by accident. Second is the audio, bad with cracked sound. Third is the display driver stopping for many times and the screen turn black and flash. There are also some other details unsatisfying, but it is tolerable.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromGreat laptop, very satisfied with it.Working perfectly, slim and lightweight. (i7, 512GB, HP Spectre x360 model 13-4195nr)5 stars, but will mention a few minor things, just to be very picky:Cover not as easy to open as most laptops.Name on cover seems easy to scratch.Home and End Keys require press of fn (function) button.Cursor keys are a bit small. If backlight on F5 key is not desired, turn off in Bios.Turn on Hyper-V virtualization in Bios, if needed.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromBeautiful machineThis thing is the PC version of a Macbook Pro Plus...the plus is touch screen, ports galore, and even supports a digitizer. I love this machine. I switch back and forth between this and my Surface Pro 3 and they are both awesome machines.
