Ratings and reviews

Rated 5 out of5 by fromGames crowning achievement are the weapons! When used with proper distance control there are an insane amount of useful weapons in Halo 5. In older Halo titles I might seek out between 3 to 5 weaps as the go to weapons. This one I feel like there are 20+ that I enjoy and can get a kill when used properly. The MP is excellent! Equal load outs rolls back to the purity of FPS's.My only criticism's were no split screen and radar was really tough to get used to because the game plays fast but the radar is only 18 meters. I think Halo 4 had 25 or 30 meters.

Rated 3 out of5 by fromSP Campaign needs workFirst, I buy games for the SP campaign and co-op experience, not MP. Halo has always delivered in this aspect until now. Among the ramped-up graphics, sounds effects, and large scale story line are undeveloped characters, short plotline, limit MC interaction, repetitive bosses and gameplay. The SP campaign is short and there really isn't any immersion where you care about what is going to the point of emotional involvement. This really could have been game had it lived up to it's marketing campaign.I briefly tried out the MP experience, but I'm not interested in throwing myself at the same objective over and over with no tactics or team coordination. I lost interest quickly and decided that I'd never purchase a Halo game on release day at full price again. I can only guess why the SP was neglected, and my guess is that the eSport MP segment was deemed more lucrative, so the campaign was quietly relegated to the back row of the theater.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromTerrible for a HALO gameHalo use to be an Iconic, amazing video game that was highly respected by everyone.Halo 5 is a disgrace to the Halo title.-No splitscreen-Tiny amount of content at launch-awful campaign and story, which is weird considering how amazing Halo 4's was-Multiplayer is way to focused on eSports, the Halo community doesn't care about eSports whatsoever.-The UI is awful, so many glitches, so "Sell all" button for REQs, often doesn't let me back out of lobbies when given the option-Ugliest armor in the franchise so far-The customization has gotten a major downgrade since Halo 3, Reach, and 4. you can no longer change your emblem backgrounds, indivisual shoulders, legs, or wrists.

Rated 3 out of5 by fromSad that there's no splitscreenThe game was fun aside from the short cliff hanger story. I really wish it had splitscreen. One of the main reasons I bought an Xbox One was to play Halo with my friends, but unfortunately that's not an option here. The graphics are pretty, and the sound effects are fitting. Online is also great. My main con is the splitscreen.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromGameplay + multiplayer heavenIgnore the people giving it 1 star because of the game not having a split screen mode. Yes it is sad, but people knew this BEFORE the release of the game. So if tey still buy it then well ... you get my point.People have learn that down voting a product after the release, while every bit of info was out there is just pointless. Multiplayer is amazing, and the story is just great. I advice people to get the master chief collection and do the story from Halo 1 all up to 5 , That is what I did and what a blast I had !

Rated 1 out of5 by fromTerrible GameI've had this game for a few months now, and after all this time i can say that I have played about 30 minutes of it. Now only because its a terrible game but also because i can never find a casual match. I've been an avid Halo fan since the original and i am highly disappointed with where this franchise is taking the game. They got rid of Co-op on one screen and completely destroyed all modes other than very competitive online. what happened to the casual nature that was such a big part in the other installments. Would've given less than 1 star if it was an option.

Rated 4 out of5 by fromGreat game but missing some things to make it bestI was very pleased with multiplayer and campaign was decent. Issues with campaign were it had no split screen which I understand many older Halo players enjoyed to come over to their friends' house and maybe play a game of multiplayer or co-op campaign. Different boss types besides the Warden would be nicer but, besides that the game is really neat!
