Rated 3 out of5 byMorgan Ryzen fromFits Just FineI've tried to like this cover several times, but each time take it off. It's really big and add much bulk to the whole package. Type cover can stay attached, but disconnects when the cover is folded back for use as a tablet, but then the whole thing is big for use as a table anyway. The type cover is held in place by an elastic band in each lower corner, so to use it in the 'up' position the keyboard needs to slide back toward the device, works but does take some effort. It does offer good protection against drops and the like and it looks quite nice - so average stars.

Rated 3 out of5 bychris311 fromNice feel but lacks attention to detailsFor the first two days I had my Surface Pro 3 this case was very good. I got it for free with my SP3 as part of a bundle sale. However, the more I used the case the more I realized that the designers of this case had not field tested this case with the SP3 as well as they should have. The build quality is very good, with a great soft leather feel and a nice kick stand, but certain design elements of the case were not thought out that well.As another review mention, the type cover will detach when you fold the case cover all the way back. When you have the keyboard in the laptop position it comes out of the elastic bands that hold it to the case. The SP3 is very hard to get in and out of the case, which wouldn't be so bad if the case wasn't so heavy, but the weight of the case makes it difficult to use the SP3 as a writing pad.The final nuisance that is causing me to return this case is the fact that it does not work well if you have a screen protector on the SP3. The corner bumpers that grab the SP3 and protect it from a fall are so tight that they push on the edges of the screen protector, causing it to rise up at the corners which allows dust to get under the screen protector at the corners.

Rated 4 out of5 bydumped my laptop and iPad fromBest folio case for Surface Pro 3I overall really like this case and highly recommend it for anyone considering a SP3. However, it is a bit big and bulky as several reviewers have said and as a result I tend to use my SP3 much more like a laptop than a tablet (not that this is all bad - its a great laptop) Wish there was better storage for the keyboard/cover then the folio is folded over in tablet mode. Also wish there was a heavy duty strap to keep it closed. If it had those two features it would be near perfect.

Rated 5 out of5 byAzIronman fromPerfect FitI was looking at sleeves for my Surface Pro 3 and came across this. The Surface clips into the corner bumpers and there are elastic straps to secure the keyboard. Great case for extra protection when traveling or using without a docking station.
