Rated 2 out of5 by fromWhy move the keys around?I tried this with my Surface Pro 3 for 2 weeks and could never get used to the new layout or the feel of the mouse. I think they could have accomplished the same sleek look with a more traditional keyboard layout and a more ergonomic mouse. My biggest issue with the keyboard was that I couldn't get used to the new locations of the arrow and Delete keys (the arrows were the bigger problem). I otherwise liked the feel of the keyboard. The mouse was ok, but as I mentioned, a more ergonomic mouse (closer to the Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000) would have been better. The keyboard was great for typing otherwise and I never had any technical issues.

Rated 3 out of5 by fromBeautiful design, needs fn keys as defaultIt was very exciting when I finally see a keyboard that is designed minimally, feels great, and has the number keypad. However my big complaint is the fn keys not set as default and there is no way to change it. I have a laptop that I have configured to the fn key being default, but this keyboard ignores my preference. This apparently is a repeated complaint about Microsoft keyboards. For the heavy hot key/fn key users, this is a huge annoyance. Please fix quick, even if I have to download a driver which is currently not needed.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromSlim, Sleek, Awesome!I purchased this desktop kit @ my local Microsoft Store to use with my Surface Pro 3 when it is docked at home as a desktop. So far, everything about the keyboard and mouse combo is great! Many people have compatibility or connection issues simply because the OS they are using is clearly labeled as not supported. I'm running Windows 10 on my SP3 and both the keyboard and mouse connected via bluetooth with no problems. The keyboard has a very satisfying feel to it when you are typing and the angle it rests at is optimal in my opinion. It has a slightly ruberized feeling to it, which I am loving. I can not say any negative things about this keyboard so far!As for the mouse, it is also very sleek and low profile. It feels "different" when compared to your typical bulky mouse, however, i do not find it problematic. I have "average" sized hands, and i think it feels great. I am using it straight on my black wooden desk and have no problems with tracking.Overall, this bundle is great if you are looking for a desktop kit with a low profile and small footprint. Assuming your OS is supported, I would highly recommend it!

Rated 1 out of5 by fromCannot connect to Windows 10 Pro PCThe Bluetooth Desktop was purchased last week. I have a Samsung NP530U3B notebook PC with Windows 10 Pro clean installed. The Bluetooth Add a Device just cannot detect the product in pairing mode. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the BT driver in Windows 10 without success. The interesting part is that if I plug a standalone Bluetooth adaptor made by IOGEAR (GBU521) into the Samsung's USB port loaded with a different device driver, then the Designer Desktop can be paired without problem. Also, the same product can be paired with my Macbook Pro without any problem. So my question is that is this a problem between the BT driver in Windows 10 and the Bluetooth desktop? Currently, there is no updated driver for the Bluetooth Desktop on Microsoft Download Center.

Rated 3 out of5 by fromGreat function/design, but could use improvementThe keyboard is designed superbly and has a great feel to it, but unlike the mouse you can't actually turn it off for some reason. This becomes problematic when storing the keyboard in a bag or against anything. Since it doesn't come with a cover to go over the keys, when they get pressed they wake the keyboard right up and re-establishes connection, inputting the keys on your device. The mouse, as stated earlier can turn off interestingly enough, but the mechanics need improvement. Compared to the keyboard, the mouse feels cheap and a bit loose but otherwise works flawlessly and on basically any surface.3 stars because I wish the keyboard came with a cover (or was able to switch off), and the fact that the mouse isn't designed as sturdy as the keyboard.

Rated 2 out of5 by fromWindows 7 isn't supported....but android is?How much sense does that make? I bought this for a workstation setup at home that I dock my work supplied laptop into but it runs on windows 7. The fact that I can pair both the keyboard AND mouse perfectly fine with an android device but you guys make it so that it doesn't work on Windows 7 in an attempt to force people to upgrade is ridiculous. I have no say in the matter, so I basically can't use this on my work system. It's great on my home PC which runs windows 10 but that isn't why I bought it.

Rated 3 out of5 by fromDoesn't Work with Windows 7It's a nice combination, but does not work with Windows 7, which is what is on my work machine, which is why I bought it. I don't recall seeing this restriction on the Store web site.
