Ratings and reviews

Rated 1 out of5 by fromLess clarityI am very big fan of Microsoft products but when it comes to this Miracast thing from Microsoft, there are many devices available right now. Microsoft Display Adapter and this Screen sharing for Lumia, I used both of them butMicrosoft Display Adapter: its useless for lumia phones as you dont get it full screen and need to have little struggle to get connectedScreen sharing for Lumia: NFC device works only at certain place had to tap multiple times to get connected. and the clarity of the picture is not good. I was trying to share my Lumia 640 onto Samsung 40" TV.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromCrisp, Amazing performanceI am running the HD-10 with a Lumia 930 Unlocked Phone. The instructions are simple and easy to follow, and the HD-10 connects my phone to HDMI displays easily and flawlessly with crystal clear resolution. This is a must-buy for anyone seeking the easiest method of mobile presentations.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromEasy to use, just plug it in and it worked.Recently bought this was concerned about the delay, but I have to say it is pretty good. Was easy to use from my Surface Pro (original not a 2 or 3). My Lumia doesn't support Miracast so I can't really test the NFC pay off this, but holding the NFC player to my phone did launch the project my screen app, so it should work as advertised if you have a supported phone.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromMIRACLE Little Miracast DeviceI have been using the HD-10 with my Lumia 2520 tablet for almost 3 months now. Clear picture 95% of the time. I have had it drop signal from the tablet on rare occasion, but think this due to the router and not the device itself. It was awesome to find out this works with my Dell laptop as well. I don't understand people complaining about it not working with their phones, as this is clearly stated in the description - the device ONLY works with Miracast enabled phones (i.e. no Lumia before 2013, I would think).I also bought this because I prefer the Nokia-esq design to that of the other Microsoft Miracast adaptor AND this doesn't require a TV with a USB port to use, unlike the other model.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromWorks amazinglyUsed with my father's Lumia 640xl and my Surface 2. NFC makes it especially easy for my dad to connect his phone to watch Netflix. No lag, excellent quality, although some (but very few) skips happen at times. Overall great product, the NFC makes it more accessible for the less tech savvy.

Rated 2 out of5 by fromNO HDMI CABLE!!!I am returning this before even trying the functionality. the pictures show cables. any reasonable person would assume an HDMI cable would be included with a product to connect to a tv or projector via the HDMI port. But no, this doesn't include an hdmi cable. while this may function like any other miracast device, and include the nfc reader, you can't make this work right out of the box, since there is no HDMI cable. and the only way you could possibly know this is the very last foot note at the page, which is basically like hiding this omissionBuy any other miracast adapter other then this, since it will most likely have some way to connect to your projector/TV included.

Rated 3 out of5 by fromJust okayStreaming video is not smooth. I also have the MS wireless dongle and even though they connect differently (wifi vs NFC) the quality and reliability of the two devices are similar. Disconnects are the bigger problem for me than the lag. Neither of them are bad devices, just not excellelent devices. But...better than any third party device I've found (I also have the ASUS wireless dongle, not any better). Chromecast for video works much better, but it reqires wifi, so I was hoping NFC technology would be easier for my needs. It still needs some work though. But worth the price for my needs.
