Ratings and reviews

Rated 4 out of5 by fromGreat laptop but lacking battery lifeThis laptop is amazing! It's processor is more than powerful enough for all of my daily tasks and the keyboard is extremely cool! There are only two problems with it. First, without the Razer Core, it's not a gaming laptop. Even Minecraft had difficulty keeping up on this laptop. Second, the battery life is horrible. It will run for 4 hours at most! The problem is that it has an i7 and a 4k screen plus the amazing Chroma Keyboard. Razer should have put a larger battery in the computer. If you're traveling for many hours at a time, this is not your computer. But if you only occasionally leave home with it, it's an amazing choice.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromAmazing!!!When I first got the computer I knew this was going to be an amazing experience. The colors are so vivid, and the 4k is superb. Alone the computer is just fine as it is. I'm currently using it for college as an aerospace engineering major, and being one I run a lot of programs on my computer. Never once has it slowed down, even so much as lagged, and I can do absolutely everything on it. With the Razer Core though, it's a whole other story. It is a fabulous gaming laptop when connected with the core, I can play games that otherwise would have been impossible on other computers. Alone though, it's still an insane work horse.

Rated 3 out of5 by fromGood but has some flawsI bought (and ended end returning) this laptop 3 weeks ago. RIght off the bat, it's quick, has a beautiful screen, a fast SSD, nice port selection (including ability to charge via usb-c) so I thought I had a winner. However, there were some things that really bothered me about this laptop.1.I had slow wifi on my unit, at least on my home network. I tried every fix possible but couldn't make it faster2. The touchpad is not a windows precision trackpad (which is ok) but it is very choppy and doesn't scroll through web pages smoothly. It felt like a computer from 4 years ago tbh3. The battery life was only about 3-3.5 hours tops (4k screen) and it can not charge via any usb power packsI think the second generation version of this laptop will be the one to get. It's still a good buy if you like the novelty, but for the price you can do better

Rated 5 out of5 by fromGreat notebook for a college gamer.I bought this because I needed a laptop to bring to class, but then I wanted something I can use during my free time. I currently have my pc rig in my dorm but with the core coming out this half of the year I wont need my rig in my dorm next year.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromOwned two - UHD 256gb and QHD 128gbI've owned two of these, one from the MS store and one direct from Razer. Both units were excellent, the only learning curve was the travel on the keyboard was 1mm, which took a bit of getting used to.Super light, excellent build quality, these are perfect ultrabooks.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromBest purchase I have ever madeI wish I could give this laptop 10 stars. Its powerful, fast, sleek, very light, a great looker. That 4k 10 point touch screen is the most beautiful, brightest screen I have ever seen. Stunning picture and 100% color reproduction (aRGB) is nice. I thought two things would be a problem--8GB RAM and shorter battery life, but 8GB turned out to be surprisingly sufficient and the battery life can hit 5 or 6 hours if power saver is turned on. I absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for an Ultrabook.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromBeautiful, portable, and well designed laptopI bought this laptop regardless my friends' warnings and online reviews. Once I got the laptop, I thought it would be complicated in programing all the keyboard spectra. However, some of the keyboard lights were already programed according to game types: FPS, MMO, etc. It is also possible that you can choose your own color for each letter as well. I am a college student, and I find that this laptop is very portable, since it is small, thin, and robust. The keyboard is smooth. I love it when I take notes in class. In gaming though, this laptop cannot do hardcore gameplay. However, if you have some budget left to buy a core, then go for it. By the way, I can play basic gaming such as CSGO (in low settings), LOL, etc. I believe you can look up those reviews online as well. Cons for this laptop is that the screen itself is extremely small- when using 4k resolution, icons and cursor would be small as well. The ram is sored to the mainboard, which cannot be upgraded, unfortunately. -P.S. I bought it from the actual razer webpage, which you will find that you have more options.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromUnit was brokenUpon arrival, the unit's enter key was non functional. After inspection I saw a loose screw under the enter key. The unit certainly had some problems with the processor, it was running extremely slow, the graphics card (integrated) was unable to do even the most lightweight task. It wasn't able to run Kerbal. Before you say anything, a 12" MacBook is able to run such a game in similar configuration.I might order another one, if if works I still believe that this device is a great combination.
