Overview

The future of warfare is now

The future of warfare is now

From one of the co-creators of Call of Duty and other key developers behind the Call of Duty franchise, the entirely multiplayer Titanfall is set in a distant frontier torn apart by war. You have the freedom to switch between fighting as an elite assault pilot or an agile, heavily armored, 24-foot-tall Titan.

The game drops you into a conflict between the Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation (IMC) and the Militia that juxtaposes small vs. giant, natural vs. industrial, and man vs. machine.

The Frontier

The Frontier

Many generations of humanity live in the deepest reaches of explored space, a vast region known as the Frontier. It contains numerous well-known and inhabited solar systems, but many more worlds remain uncharted.

The Militia

The Militia

The Frontier Militia represents the military arm of the Frontier systems' territorial defense pact. The Militia is a loosely governed mishmash of homesteaders, bandits, mercenaries, and pirates.

Titans

Titans

Titans are descendants of present-day fledgling military exoskeletons. In addition to the obvious combat applications, unarmed Titans are used in heavy industries like cargo transport and deep space ship salvage.

Pilots

Pilots

The Frontier contains Pilots of many different styles and experiences. Titan Pilots are rated by certifications, most of which apply to civilian applications, such as construction, shipping, and heavy salvage industries.

Ratings and reviews

Rated 5 out of5 by fromGreat gameThis game is amazingly fun for the price. I greatly enjoy the multiplayer and the mechanics are great. Everything feels "right" and pretty well balanced. I had a blast playing this game.

Rated 4 out of5 by fromAwesome GameI purchased this game a few weeks ago and I like it thus far. True, triple 'A' FPSs are coming out soon, but this is still a good game to pick up if you want that 'drop-in, drop-out' action. It's fast paced, easy to pickup, and is still played by the community. There's usually two modes that see the most action, those being Attrition (team deathmatch) and Campaign, but those two modes alone are more than enough to keep you entertained (though you can still find people to play other game modes, albeit a longer wait time). Solid movement, custom gun and titan loadouts, and AI bots on the battlefield with players. Titans thrown into the mix add tension during critical moments, which make the game that more interesting. I recommend 100%.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromTitanfall - even better on Xbox OneOwned it for the 360 when it first came out. With a recent sale at the Microsoft Store, I decided to pick it up for the XBox One. Graphics are beautiful and picking this game back up reminded me of just how good it is.I just wish all the accomplishments, level ups, etc. transferred over. You have to start over from scratch!

Rated 5 out of5 by fromBest FPS on Xbox OneThe fastest paced, smoothest gameplay, most reliable servers, and most creative first person shooter still to date in late 2015. This has become my favorite game, hands down! A true next-gen. shooter.

Rated 5 out of5 by fromI'd be rich if...If I had a dime from everyone who said this game is boring, my bank account would be flowing with a lot of extra cash...I got Titanfall last Christmas as a gift to myself...As a long time gamer, I got tired of the same ole song from CoD and the ton of other shooters over the years....Titanfall has renewed my love for 1st person shooters....The game is never the same, no matter how you look at it...There are times when the game and gamers challenge you to beat them...Titanfall, is way more complex than just jumping into a titan and going ballistic against the other team...Pilots, are always tough to shoot down, especially when on the run, you have to have extremely accurate timing when placing a shot in order to get a kill....Nevertheless, this game is amazing, complicated at times and overall my most favorite game on Xbox One! I play just about every day and never get tired of it!!

Rated 4 out of5 by fromOutstanding multiplayer, second to noneThe pacing and freedom of Titanfall is mind-blowing. It needs some visual polish and some kind of campaign that's more specific (it uses multiplayer matches to tell the tale - a first for the genre but executed poorly). This replaced CoD: Ghosts so fast I hated playing CoD in the wake of this game. The free-running mechanics and three dimensional aspects of every level are fantastic. Can't wait for Titanfall 2 (which still has another year or two from this review's publishing) to come about.
