I've installed and configured Microsoft products since the NT 4.0 days and by far 2012 is by far the best of all the systems I've dealt with. I purchased 2012 essentials for a client with a small business. SBS was not a good choice for him and 2012 standard was way too big for his needs. Essentials fit the bill and with the ease of use and cloud integration it was absolutely the best. They now have their file server they needed, Office 365 and Active Directory. Now they are up to date all the time. No more XP installations and 2003 server. They were great for their day but no more.I do recommend at least using the technet install before you purchase it so you can become familiar with the nuances of it before you install.All I can say is if you have a client who has basic server needs just do it. Use Essentials 2012. You won't regret it.

Rated 3 out of5 byFMWC fromGood For Small BusinessI bought this because we are a small business but be needed the flexibility of a large business. I like it but it has been hard to total install for a novice like myself. The ease of installation is not as easy as they made it out to be.
