Rated 1 out of5 by fromWhy did you change something that was working so gOutlook did an upgrade and since then my gmail account doesn't sync or if I do get it working it only last a day or two. The other thing is sometimes it locks up and has Not Responding and "contacting://di.rlcdn.com". It goes into permanent wait mode and then shuts Outlook down. I have to reboot my computer to get it working again. I tried running a virus scan but it finds nothing. I researched di.rlcdn.com and find it is has something to do with tracking. I don't like Outlook and I am looking for an email program that I can import everything from Outlook but I haven't found it yet. I tried Thunderbird but it didn't import Outlook.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromFrantically looking for replace Outlook 2016I have been an Outlook guy since they called it exchange. In fact in a former life I worked for IBM global services implementing exchange servers. All of the previous iterations of Outlook have been great. This one however seems to be mostly repackaged and a few steps backwards. It's BLUE! Looking at my taskbar, i see Outlook, Skype and Word. why didn't you keep it yellow? Writing an email now is cumbersome? Auto bullets don't work. The list goes on. Contacts are different. You have to click another button to see your notes. It's a poor effort. I can't believe that this version was approved. I hate it.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromOutlook 2016 = Big DisappointmentBought Outlook 2016 expecting a full featured email program that could be tailored to my needs, with the calendar features used in the past as a bonus. The email is a "take what we give you - we know best what you need/want". Outlook email does NOT allow you to merge 2 email addresses into one, nor can I figure out how to have it harvest emails off the server than delete them from that server, as I could in earlier Microsoft email programs. Coming from a Vista laptop to Windows 10 and Outlook 2016 I could not transfer my contacts list, and had to manually enter all my old contacts.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromMicrosoft Outlook is not readyI don't know why you release Outlook when it is not ready! This is the slowest email I have ever had. It takes forever to load, and then takes forever to display that G-D ad at the right. It redisplays the ad when going from Inbox to Sent or to any other folder. So, it then takes forever. Often, it gets in a loop like it's trying to redisplay the ad or something. It locks up and I can not view any email in any folder. I hate Outlook. I am a 43-year systems programmer, and my opinion is that there's is NO EXCUSE for this performance!

Rated 3 out of5 by fromMicrosoft updates crashed programWhen I installed the program it worked fine, and to my expectations. Within about one week, an automatic update from Microsoft rendered the program useless. It would not open. A technician was required to solve the problem by removing the problem updates. It would seem appropriate that Microsoft recognized the problem and corrected it without me having to retain a technician at my expense to find and fix the problem.

Rated 1 out of5 by fromOlder versions are betterIt's slow and non-responsive most of the time. Too many bugs to list. The older version (2013) I had install was much better, although still unreliable. Outlook is also a memory hog (consistenly using 500MB+ of RAM).

Rated 1 out of5 by fromVery DisappointedI just purchased Outlook 2016. As it started to download, I received a message that continuing would wipe out my Office. I use my Word program every day and cannot live without it. This notification should be made available before someone spends the money to purchase the Outlook program.
